1) Why was Amanda "making out" with herself instead of her beau LOL
2) Fun segue into the real film.
Busy, this may seem a grand departure from the usual format, but considering that RB is a video commentary on blogging, podcasting, vlogging, and net culture it is apropos. And their goofy intro was a lot more fun to produce I imagine than filming Amanda in front of a backdrop pressing at imaginary broadcast equipment! :D
I have the DVD of this film. Apparently Lelouch hired a professional driver to handle the car - he did not drive the car himself. I love the 1970's ending - so very very French.
It's amazing. I never get sick of watching that. You're opener was so perfect to. You very well replicated the lighting and filming technique and the comparison is fascinating, to me anyway. I think it's the best tour of Paris I've ever seen. Where else can you see that much of paris in such a short time. I've now watched your clip about 4 times, and the original who knows how many. :)

By the way, anyone seen "Taxi" by Luc Besson? Opening is similar, but with a speeding Vespa in the foreground.
Amanda... drive safe!
...those crazy French.

Is there any more backstory on how this film was made?
BTW, Mark - it's a car, not a motorbike.
Cheers,

Amanda, you're sexy.
Keep up the good work.
