I don’t have any valentines stories. No one’s given me a valentine since Freshman year, no one’s ever asked me out. Nothing awesome has ever happened to me on valentines day, and I don’t think anything will.

I was dumped by my first girlfriend ever back in 4th grade. I was biking while she was walking and I accidentally ran over her foot. That lead to her falling on her face.
Me not having breaks on my bike also lead to me running over her arm and breaking it.
She came to school with her arm in a cast and a few bandages on her face. She left me that next day. I couldn’t figure out why for like 3 years.
Was at a Valentines party last year, painfully single. I see this cute girl and I start chatting to her. One thing leads to another and we start making out, things progress and she drags me into the washroom and starts sucking my dick. Turns out this girl was 14.

I once activated a fire extinguisher by mistake.
I wanted to sit in the corner and didn’t notice the extinguisher which, of course, at that time, had its safety belt already off.
To my disappointment it was not red confetti that flew out of the container, but blue disgusingly smelly powder.
I spent most of my Valentine’s Day cleaning up the hallway then.
Maybe once i get a girlfriend things will start too turn around…

i was planning on having a mini party for some friends and so i invited a few guys that were friends of my crush.. they asked me if they could ‘tell the lads’ i agreed, hoping my crush would come.. valentines arrives and so do my guests, a lot show up, drunk and elaborate.. but my crush is no where in sight..

once in 5th grade there was a girl that I liked and I spent like 2 hours making a little figurine of her FOR her out of stuff. I left it in her desk then I think it was the next day and she found it and I was embarassed like crap and nervous about it because I was having second thoughts about the figurines…
She already had a date/valentine thing with my friend! But that didn’t affect my friendship with him.

Yes it did. The worst things in my life have consistantly happened in Feb.
1st time I fell in love… was an utter dissaster that took me years to get over.
4 years later my vday was ruined by the above story.
Last year I was the sickest I have ever been in my life during all of Feb.
And just yesterday both my front tires fell off their rims in the snow, leaving me stranded. My only consolation is that Feb. is the short bus month.

I’ve been seeing someone for about 2 years now, but not officially they don’t want to “go out” or be in a “relationship” because they aren’t ready. One day I was having a terrible day and ended up having a mental breakdown. The person I had been seeing happened to be there and it made me feel even more worthless because I didn’t feel good enough that they’d make a commitment to me. Turns out he was going to ask me out on Valentine’s about three days away. D: FAIL.

I met my Girlfriend of a year on a social site, called myYearBook. We started chatting got in great touch and spent 2 hours dayli on the chats. I slowly fell in love with here, and she fell in love with me. 3 months later, her parents forbid us to ever talk again… She called to say goodbye, but I had to tell her “I love you” and to my fortune “I love you, too”… Later we planned to meet in her city, 100 miles away, on Valentine’s :) (Continued in next comment)

Hmm… Today I brought in Power Rangers Valentine’s Day cards, with tattoos, and my friends and I put the tattoos on at lunch!
Two weeks later, I ordered tickets to see her, on Valentine’s. I was awfully nervous, I bought a book for her, written and drawn by Time Burton. She loved it, and gave me a coral-stone, which I now sit with in my palm. When we first met, before we had even said a word to each other, we hugged in the middle of the street for long over a minute… Until the traffic signal changed. That day, I had my first kiss, with my first love, and we’re about to celebrate our anniversary, this Valentine’s :)

where did u go to school??? public, private, city, ect? cause all elementary schools i know u have to give valenties to everyone in the class so stuff like that didnt happen. Theyve done it when i was in 1st-5th grade in the lates80s early 90s, and they still do it now.

At the prom my best friend (David) dared me to dance with a girl I never had the courage to speak to. He knew I always had a crush on her. The day after, we started to chat in our prom gallery forum and then excanged email adresses. She made the suggestion to meet at valentine’s day, and I was like omg!! Later I found out 50% of the emails were wirtten by a friend of hers and David in the other direction to make that happen. Anyway, we are 3 year together now :D

The last Valentine’s Day “big date” that I had, we ended going to a nice teppanyaki place a friend recommended. We had a great time, all the couples there at our table were great, and if it wasn’t for the food poisoning from the shrimp, it would have been an ideal VD. :)

Im always single on Valentines. So this one time, I decided to spend an entire Valentines Day giving presents and cards to everyone I know. I, obviously, received none. Quite sad. However, the next day, I got tons of calls and presents from my friends saying their gratitude. So all is fair.
Story: A couple months ago I asked this girl out and she (not so) politely refused. Now that valentines day is coming up she was crying about how she was alone and wouldn’t be getting a carnation at school, because her school was allowing the students to buy each other carnations and have them delivered right before Valentines day. I wanted to cheer her up, so I searched around my neighborhood for a flower, made a card, and went to her school in the morning and left them near her instrument

Well anyways my story is, 2 years ago, my best and I were really falling for each other, but we were to afraid to tell each other. But then on Valentines Day I got up the courage and got her a Valentines Day card…The same day I got one in post from her telling me how she felt ^^ It was like the best moment of my life, and I still have the card!
You seem to be under the delusion that valentines day is about genuine feelings. How many couples today do you think really have feelings of love for each other? Just over half maybe? And why, would anyone in love really need a day to show it? If you really were, you’d show it everyday, not once a year. my best valentines story has to be the senior year of high school. I got to just hang out with my girl friend for the day. I didn’t have a lot of money so we didn’t go out or anything, but we just got to be together, that was good enough for me. I can’t help it though, I miss her so very much.

To make a long story short, we get into a fight with some guys who were up to no good & my mom gets scared and throws me in a cab to live with my auntie and uncle. My story:
At highschool all valentine’s gifts were sent to the main office and they would send a person to each class room to deliver them (i had never gotten one). One year I got my first valentine’s gift, which ended up being meant for another person with the same name that was in my class. When i went to talk to the girl at lunch she explained and i was sad. We got talking and ended up hanging out, three years later and we are still together. :D

Valentine’s day 2001 offers a component to the story to how my partner and I happened to get together a month later. If she had not been stood up by her V-day date just one month before we started dating, I think there is a good chance she would have been off-the-dating-market and unavailable less than a month later when we were lucky enough to have an opportunity to share an amazing spring break together.
Moral: terrible Valentine’s days can be rewarding even if you don’t recognize it.

well my story is i asked my best friend out and she said she didnt want to ruin our friendship and she likes flirting with me but for fun. After that we barely speak a few words every 2 months, so much for keeping our perfect friendship.
I’m a hopeless romantic and have never had a real Valentine because I’ve always been too soft-hearted. Best Valentine’s story w/ my Ex. Lived 150mi from each other.. I had planned to take her to see Wicked. She drove up in a snowstorm & her car broke down. I went to rescue her but got stuck in a traffic jam of a high rise fire. Called tow truck who couldn’t find her, she was helped by a high driver. I finally arrived 1.5 hrs later. We rushed to din’r where she had to change in a Qdoba bathroom. Had din’r rushed then ran to the show. Needless to say, we drank a lot that night

I guess this didn’t happen on Valentines today but today is close enough. One of my friends was approached today by somebody asking if they wanted to go on a double date with them. He said he didn’t have a date to bring so the other guy suggested he brought one of my other friends. Telling him that they would be great together. This happened in a sort of common area and everybody watched it happen. And it turned out that those two friends of mine were the entire school’s OTP.

When I was four, there were these two girls one’s name was Courtney and the other’s name I have forgotten lets call her Jenny. Both girls had crushes on me, which was serious buisness for four year olds, they would always fight over who was going to marry me. Anyways I liked Courtney so I asked my mother to get me a rose to give to her. So I went up to Courtney, gave her the rose, asked her to be my Valentine, then ran away. my girlfriend at the time surprised me by making me a penguin shaped cookie (because i love penguins) and got me the sweetest card that i still have to this day (5 years later not that long i guess). We watched sappy romantic comedies the rest of the night. Best valentine’s ever!
My mother was a 17 year old exchange student from Hungary arriving to London, and on the train she had a hard time with her bags and my father, studying in London at the time (norwegian) helped her and later asked her out for a coffee.
This happened on Feb14., 1977… They are together ever since :)

The only story I know is that every year we had to buy a box of Valentines Day cards, then get a list of everyone in class to send home so Mom could write all the names and put the cards in the envelopes so we could put a card in everyones shoeboxes that we made in class with glue and construction paper.

well, when my parents were at york university, they went to a valentine’s dance, but not with each other. they didnt even know each other. so while they were at the dance, a new foreign exchange student from italy came, and they were both asked to show him around since my parents speak italian. after they showed him the tour, my dad asked my mom if she wanted to dance. they danced, and then they both had their first kiss! how sweet xoxoxo!

Like 3 or 4 valentines days ago I was depressed because I’d gone on a date with a girl a month ago but she never talked to me..So I was depressed and my mom bought me a stuffed animal weenier dog that was bigger than me to cheer me up. It had a giant hole in it, and I was so nervous I kept picking at it until it was destroyed beyond repair. It sat out by the trash in the rain for a week….A week later that girl called me up and broke up with me. I hadn’t heard from her since our date.

In 1979 had the biggest crush with a girl named Christine Bender from 2nd grade to 5 grade. She was blonde and had blue eyes. In school when we use to sit Indian style on the floor I always tried to sit next to her. I thought she was the prettiest girl Id ever seen! I remember making a Valentines Day card in school and was too scared to give it to her! So after school tried to find her house on my bike and went house to house in our neighborhood asking classmates if they knew where she lived … when I finally discovered where she lived, I chickened out threw her Valentines Day Card on the ground and went home. She never knew how I felt. LOL! Hows that for a silly story Ms. Molly. I don’t have a Valentines this year, so I hope I get your card! It would be AWESOME!!!! Thanks and I love your show!

A few years ago, the guy I was dating did something really great for Valentine’s day. He led me to his room after school and inside was a large drawing he handdrew of us from a photograph, roses and rose petals, and a romantic mix tape. There was a little disco ball in the middle of his shelf and we danced. Later that night he took me out to a nice place for dinner and then we went to a small diner for ice cream in our nice clothes. We were 15 but it was the only bf I’ve had for Valentine’s Day.
When I was single, I would get really depressed on Valentine’s Day so I would watch Steve Carrell in “The 40-year Old Virgin” and laugh at him. But then, I would realise that that is what I could become and then I would become even more depressed.

I’m in 12th grade, and back in the 3rd grade my first love (well, in hindsight just that very special first Crush) passed out store valentine cards to everybody in the class. The one she gave me had the Tasmanian Devil from Loony Tunes on it.
I only knew her for that one year, and then she transferred to a different school. I found the valentine a couple years later in old school papers, and cherished it.

I would really like to have the valentine card. My pet Gold Fish died of a rare freshwater fish disease last year and he was my best friend in the whole world. Um, one time, on Feb.14 … I drank a whole bunch of Boones Farm wine and ended up getting my head stuck in the neighbors mailbox. A pretty EMT girl helped pull me out and I fell in love. To this very day I still find that mailbox every Valentines day! No Federal law or “court order” can keep me away. Even had to punch a mailman in the face. Well, i didn’t ‘have to’, but I did. Looking back, he was just doin his job. I dunno…Kinda romantic, right?

Once in when I lived in NY I was on a group valentines date with about 3 couples. We went to the Ice Skating rink the day before valentines day and it was a lot of fun. Until my girlfriend of over a year at the time decided to break up with me on the date. The next day my friends and I took the stuffed animals I was going to give her and shoved fireworks up their rears and watched the show. :-)

The only valentines day story I have is when I went to an all male school in south america and we didnt call it Valentines day,we called it the “Day of frienship and sharing” and when I moved here to the untied states in 5th grade and the kids were making boxes and handing out cards and I had no idea what was going on and it was just very very akward for me,lol
I gave my girlfriend a valentine. I put it on a brick with a rubber band and threw it through her window while driving by in a car. She’s not really my girlfriend, just a girl I like to follow and take pictures of and walk behind while I rub my genitals through my pants.

I was in Mexico for reading break last year with my girlfriend at the time and for Valentine’s Day we went to one of the shows put on by the resort. Well a guy walks on stage and asks his girlfriend to marry him. She then responds I need help from the crowd and asks “Why should I marry him” and I stand up and say so you don’t end up with a guy like me…my girlfriend just stared at me…it came out so wrong…the rest of the trip was quite awkward and it was only day 2 of 10

Last valentines day i was skateboarding in front of a restraunt in miami FL. I ended up breaking my board when i landed and needless to say i was rather upset. Right as i sat down on the curb in front of the resturaunt to get a breather a cute little girl, probably aroud 9 walked up to me. She handed me a card that said happy valentine’s day with a picture she drew of me skateboarding inside of it. She gave me a hug and left with her mom; my favorite card i have ever recieved.
I’m not a big fan of Valentines Day but this year, a friend of mine gave me some anti-valentine candy and an ex voodoo doll as a joke. One of the lollipops said Love Kills and the other said not a chance! XDDD

I want to share the story of Safikada.
Safikada was a real woman, of this we are certain. While we cannot say if the legend surrounding her is true, we can say her grave in the city of Banja Luka, in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, still exists and still bears a specific passage normally reserved by those who died by their own hand.
The legend of Safikada is well-known among Bosniaks, Bosnian Croats, and Bosnian Serbs who were born and raised in the city of Banja Luka. It is also well-known among Turks of Bosniak ancestry in Izmir, many of whom still visit her grave to light candles and say prayers.
At the time Safikada was born, Banja Luka was, as it was for much of the Ottoman Empire’s course in this region, a dangerous frontier city. It was a city of Ottoman soldiers, quaint Bosniak peasants, and constant heartache and misery due to violent incursions from Christian areas of Europe.
Thus it was generally frowned upon in Banja Luka for a young woman to marry a soldier, even though soldiers were among the most desirable of suitors elsewhere in Bosnia. It was certainly frowned upon for the most beautiful woman in the city, a woman whose name was on the lips of every boy and whose body was in their most private fantasies.
Safikada, however, didn’t let this scare her away from love. She fell madly in love with a Turkish soldier from Izmir who was stationed at Banja Luka’s famous Kastel. Even though it went against the traditions of the time, she openly walked the streets with him, holding hands, and courting publicly.
To put an end to it, the Turkish soldier’s influential commanders persuaded the Sultan to transfer him back to Anatolia. Safikada and the Turkish soldier vowed to be faithful to each other until death and for the next several years Safikada walked the streets of Banja Luka alone, wearing a widow’s black burqha. She refused so many suitors that she became a joke in Banja Luka and the jealous women and lustful boys taunted her fidelity to her “imaginary Turk”.
With time, word reached Banja Luka that the Turkish soldier had been killed. Safikada’s father, who always bowed to the wishes of his daughter, finally accepted a suitor and arranged for her marriage - but it was too late. The day she found out her lover had died, Safikada wore her wedding dress to the fortress Kastel, waited until the cannons were lit, and then stood before one screaming, “I will remain faithful to you until I die”.
She was not killed instantly by the cannon and was carried away on boards by anxious and frightened Turkish soldiers. While entering the city of Banja Luka she passed away. Afraid to touch her beautiful body, they left her there in the street where she was eventually burried, not far from the Kastel.
Her grave is, as I’ve said, still visited by residents of Banja Luka

I raped my sister on Valentine’s day.
Taking inspiration from the video, my friends and I hand-created detailed Valentine’s Day cards to give out to strangers. Because Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be egocentric–it should be about making others happy. Even though not all of the 60 cards might’ve been fully appreciated it, the people who enjoyed their Valentines were more than worth the effort. This is going to become a tradition for us!

This Valentines Day I decided to surprise my girlfriend Clare with a trip to Long and McQuades! We always talked about how much we wanted to get banjo’s but the only thing stopping us was me not having enough cash. So I worked as hard as I could till I had just enough. Than I showed up at her door in overalls, a cowboy hat and buck teeth. The expression on her face was priceless but overall we had a wonderful day. At first, I was opposed to the random distribution of these cards; because, after all, you HAVE to look out for your personal safety, so keeping in mind that, you have to deny them to some people–and thus sending the worst anti-valentine–whether or not they are harmless. But, I see you also left some at random places, giving a chance for which those you you might deny in person, which made me happy.

So last year I was on an exchange program in the UK for 6 months. My boyfriend came all the way down from Canada to visit me for Valentine’s day. We spend our Valentine’s day in London getting lost and ending up at Buckingham palace by accident. By the end of the night we were so lost we did not know how to make it back to our hotel room. It was so busy that night that we couldnt haill a cab and the tube station closes at night. We made it back on a chariot pulled by a man on a bike. It was fun!

On Valentine’s day most single people end up huddled on the ground in the fetal postion crying that they want their mother but guess what she’s gone on a Valentine’s date with your dad and no one comes to comfort you so you just lay there crying when suddenly you get the bright idea that you can effectively use your own tears as lubricant to masterbate…so you do and for a second you feel better but then you realize what you’ve just done and how pathetic your life is so you turn to good old Mr. Tequila. He doesn’t judge you…so you feel comfortable throwing a few back…not so many that you want to vomit but enough to make that awkward phone call to that special coworker, which by the way, you won’t remember tomorrow if they bring it up. Then you sit in front of the TV watching re-runs of Happy Days asking yourself how you ended up in this position. But that all comes to stop because you realize that you’re a loser…a pathetic loser that has a dead end job and a small penis. So you start to cry again…but not that sad muffled cry like before…oh no…we’re talking full on “Honey, I think someone’s killing our neighbors…I’m gonna call the cops” cry. So the cops show up right on time, two hours later…just in time to see you tying a makeshift noose out of shoe laces. They ask you what’s going on and if they should call your parents. You say no…you were practicing for a play. They buy it and leave. Then the embarassment drinking begins and you black out. And after all this your parents come home only to see you passed out on the floor in a puddle of you’re own piss crying that you tried to make it to the bathroom but you could’t undo your belt…but that’s no excuse because you realize that you’re already in your spongebob squarepants boxers and remember that you decided not to get up to go to the bathroom. Instead you wanted to pee in the tequila bottle so your parents wouldn’t know you drank it…but in the end you just couldn’t make it.

Well I have no story since I never have had a girlfriend. However my mom udes to make valentine’s day special by wraping up those famous cinnamon hearts in tissues (unused of course) and placing them beside our pillows. I’d have to say my favorite Valentine’s Day story was last year when I invited the girl I had a crush on for like 2 years over to watch a movie, and when the film had ended she told she had to meet up with her sister for dinner, but she would call me to meet up after she was done. She texted me saying she was not feeling very well and was sick.
Months later I found out that she didn’t go out with her sister to dinner, but instead went with the guy she liked.

A few years ago, my girlfriend and I have been dating for over two years. The night before Valentines Day, we had a really heart breaking break up. We had plans for Valentines Day though. So, instead of wallowing in pain locked in a room listening to a break up mix tape, we went out for a meal and hung out all day with each other. Think because of that extra effort, we were able to maintain our wonderful friendship and are still friends today.
My valentine’s day story
2 years ago, some of my friend’s-friends from southampton came down to visit.
This valentine’s day, I took a train to Romsey (near southampton) from cardiff to see them.
After 2 years they still remembered me and we had an amazing day out, and one of the girls in particular has invited me back, although hopefully I won’t have to wait another 2 years :}

A Happy belated Valentines Molly, this was a very clever idea and a cute video presentation :) My best but worse story happened years ago in 5th grade when I neglected to give a card to the girl I adored, convinced she did’nt care for me and too shy to let her know my feelings for her. When it came time to share our Valentines with others, she gave me a card saying sweet things of how much she liked me and I was left feeling foolish and forlorn for not following my heart.

once, when i was eight. i was up until ten in the night making Clifford the Big Red Dog themed valetine’s day cards for the whole class. On valentines day, i made an announcement in front of the class telling htem i had a husge surprise after english.
