Thankfully neither in Samoa nor Indonesia we have seen the Inferno-like scenery of New Orleans at the times of Katrina Hurricane, when George W. Bush witheld the alarm about the breaking levees (about which he was fully informed) untill the Louisiana government ackowledged the catastophe, releasing that way the federal government from the compensations to the civilian populations and the hottest management of the emergency. To the untold suffering of the population of poor who didn’t have a car to flee or couldn’t afford to abandon their houses.

Well, my faith in humanity is unshaken- that is, my lack of faith. A large portion of the comments here about a series of disasters are losers hitting on a web video newscaster. Quite a few of the others are based on political hatred. I can’t wait for some idiot to come up with the “God is punishing the Indonesians because they are Muslim” comment.
Come on people. There’s no fault here, no culpability, and no reason to be casting blame. It’s a tragedy, pure and simple. People that can help are, and typical of political infighting much of the aid is held up by corruption. This happens almost every time. No news here.

You can’t stop earthquakes and tsunamis from happening. It’s best to avoid them if at all possible and try to minimize their effects.

The main reason of these earthquakes occuring more frequently at very small intervals is the prostitute/bastard culture man is trying to promote accross the globe thereby violating mother nature. Secondly the bastard born from this culture is totally inhumane & wild thereby increasing inhumanity on the earth & giving way to earthquakes now occurring at a faster pace than ever before.
