Molly mentioned on another RB video that she’s back in the UK at the moment waiting for her visa to get sorted out.

As for the geographical origin of RB’s content, I’m sure Andrew and the rest of the team would love to have a global network of correspondents but the cost of that would likely be prohibitive.

    “Africa”?

I pray you’re not referring to a continent as you would a “country”. Unless, of course, you’re, too, becoming sick of seeing things from “North America”.

    Jesus you’re dumb.

You assumed what i said then criticize it. What right do you have to assume what i said? You took what i said and made it very personal and forgive me if i did in anyway. As crayjay3 said that Rocketboom’s videos focusing more on New York or Africa then it used to be. Remember do not assume what people say in the internet.

I didn’t assume shit. You, verbatim, said “Africa”, clearly referring to it. All I did was take YOUR words and merely applied it to something more appropriate (in this case the example of “North America”) as a sort of screen to make sure that you *weren’t* referring to it in such a retardedly stupid manner. It was then up to *you* to differentiate between the two.

I thought that was very clear but apparently it wasn’t for something trying to save face, perhaps from a mistake already made.

You’re a moron. I never disputed that they have a focus on different *areas* in the African continent, as well as on NYC, but your vulgar egotism blinded your ability to intelligently think about what I said. My criticism was your use of the word “Africa” in the same breath as a city (ie New York), as if to say that they were somehow comparable (if only implicitly).

Like ffs, at the very least differentiate between the two for the less educated out there. Wouldn’t be hard.

  21. NwZ2

And it wasn’t “Africa” as a whole that they were focusing on, but rather different areas, just like how New York City *is* just one small area on the continent of North America. See? This is the problem with people like you and your terminology and the implicit lack of respect you display with impunity.

  27. I ask why people watch the Rocketboom videos when so many comments have nothing to do with the subject? Does being first to view something make you special? Who first was the first to see 911? Who cares? Do you remember who was the anchorperson on that tragic day? I watch Rocketboom because they are making an effort to open our eyes beyond the day to day mundane life. If you have a problem with a story, try going going out and taping your own story. I am sure Rocketboom would love to show it. As a former environmental artist who was commissioned to build sculptures all over the world I was touched by this man’s small effort to open our eyes one bird at a time. Now I got to get out and appreciate the world this website has turned me onto.

why o why does goverments still supports africa with the already so high tax money.

the people living there is a blemish on humanity.

this will get lot’s of negative feedback but it’s true

look at al the historical marvels and technological advances that came from europe, asia, america,

the greatest that africans was able to built was a straw hut.

they never learnt how to grow crops, barely invented tools, and so forth

it’s quite sad to say. but the original african is an inferior human

yes i’m sure every european person, or every asian, or every american person invents stuff every day! i’m sure you grow crops and invent tools.

a whole society shouldn’t get it’s reputation from the accomplishment of a few productive individuals. did those people choose to be born in africa? did you choose to be born in a developed country? you could say yes, but you’d be lying. So stop being such a dick and disgracing the few productive individuals in your history you are taking credit for.

I am missing the link between the birds and the cellphones. While the other recycled materials are reshaped and remodelled to look like parts of a bird, the cellphones remain cellphones, in what seems to me merely eye-catching expediency. A few birds at the beginning had not the cellphone on the back, and I suspect we have seen mostly the tourist section of the artworks of this man. If it’s helping him to make ends meet, good for him.

Fleece the tourists, Mamadou, you’ll get them happy and they deserve no better.

Bill Nye has a new show called Stuff Happens, and he did a bit on e-waste, microchips and batteries have valuable things and harmfull things in them, the chips have gold and silver, and other stuff such as the batteries are, well, toxic, depending on what kind of battery it is. Could be mercury, lead, and diff. kinds of acid.

I have found some information on the Net for M’sieur Mamadou Tall Diedhiou via Google and there are quite a number of links concerning him and his art. I’m going to attempt to give you some links using the hypertext markup language allowed. I have not attempted HTML in a setting such as this before so, I’m crossing my fingers for luck. Very tightly.

Here are some sites on the Net for M. Diedhiou.

      M. Diedhiou lives here provided you enter Niomoune, Bignona, Senegal.

Here is a listing of some of his creations.

The gentleman who reported on M’sieur Diedhiou is M’sieur Cheikh Darou Seck and you can find him here.

They are, both, wonderful men. I can tell.

Oh! Within all of those links and sub-links, you will find M’sieur Diedhiou’s poem, “Sad Birds.” Very touching.

      Bon chance!

There is DEFINITELY differences, very small differences yes, but still differences.
For example our skincolor or the fact that most (shit, forgot the specific country) of the people in a certain country have certain DNA-traits that allows their body to run faster.
BUT we are still to similar to be called different “races”

In biology, a race is any inbreeding group, including taxonomic subgroups such as subspecies, taxonomically subordinate to a species and superordinate to a subrace and marked by a pre-determined profile of latent factors of hereditary traits.

You’re thinking of species, there are different human races.
