Iceclimbing is the most fun you can have in a pair of trousers. Iceclimbing without a pair of trousers is one of the least fun things you can do. Wow, it’s completely full spectrum… So that means that fun is defined by the state of your trousers.

This is like the skiing range in the desert. Where it’s a big indoor facility with tons and tons of ice and you go outside and you’re in the desert. I forgot where it was.

That’s so cool! I’ve never heard of ice-climbing before. I mean, I know people climb mountains upon which there is snow and ice, but I’ve never heard of people purposefully clambering up a sheer cliff of ice for fun. Awesome reporting and cool facility! I would have liked to see a little more about the technology of getting it to the right conditions, though.

I like how it has to be indoors because the UK never really gets cold, and when it does the whole country goes mad and nothing gets done, and the weather is the only news story!
I first learnt to ice climb there, many years ago and i even competed in there ice and rock completion in 2007
Now ive climbed all ver the world, form Patagonia to the Alps, but when the weathers right Scotland provides some of the best climbs iv ever done.
also all the people asking why bother, climbing is one of the most amazing experiences
