Actually, as ice melts, Polar Bears increase their feeding grounds, moving to what are now warmer waters and eating the fish that now swarm it. Melting ice isn’t a bad thing for polar bears at all, in fact, many species are growing.

There are some major holes in the Arctic ice story. For one thing, the Arctic broke the previous record for the least sea ice area ever recorded, while the Antarctic broke the record for the most sea ice area ever recorded. Summed up over the entire earth, polar ice has remained constant. There has been no net gain or loss of polar sea ice since records began.
I other words. Polar ice mass fluctuates between the poles. Considering the Earth is now COOLING, this is a non-issue entirely.
