I think a common mistake by the robot makers is that they try to make the robot look like person — the RIBA for example, if it’s just going to lift patients from bed to a wheel chair, it should be design for just that. Take note of our most successful but unrecognized robots, the washing machines - laundry and dish.
I think the iRobot it’s got the right idea.

Hey, it’s there already, more and more labor at the factories is replaced by robots. However the society in total fails to benefit from that on a large scale.
You might want to study computer science or robotics, then you won’t have to do any manual labor and you might make the glorious day come closer when robots finally replace the humans altogether and kill all of us off. :)
