mmmmh, a graduation project. I suppose we have to be indulgent and understanding on it. Well, there’s a vivid imagery and an interesting sound track (including the noise), but scarcely substantiated by the script. I understand it’s a “comic film”, but it’s too hard to make sense of the plot - the conflict between the scientific daydreaming of him and the practical sense of her - for a true story to emerge. I think it’s a bit inconsistent. The story and the characters can’t be so unwarranted to the audio and pictorial impact. Don’t ask me to see it five times before to form a valid opinion. If at the second time it doesn’t work I think we have a problem. Try again.
Actually, if I could have one of these per day, I think I could adjust to life here on Earth among the sheeple.

Ook, my critical remarks are not about the author’s cosmology, with which I don’t take issue, but his storytelling skills. He must work harder to make his point more compelling.

Wading through the slime is indeed a chore. I think about 20 percent of the comments from the tube-slugs are indicative of brain waves. The rest range from dumb to the sort of BS race-hating poseur crap that keeps so many 13 year old boys busy.
The notion of doing a room raid on the tube site is an interesting one, but honestly, it’s getting to the point where this is just a lot of work.
Oh, I agree with you Leron. It was just an idea to try to spice up the mindless drivel seeping over from there. 2008? Really? I guess it’s kind of cool that they’ve managed to so cloesly recreate the feel of soviet era avant guarde cinema but I can’t help asking myself.. Why?
The whole point of cinema from that era was that it was an artifact of its time. Ergo, seeing as how we’re now in a different time, I really don’t see the point of making stuff like this.
Not that it wasn’t well done, becuase it was, I just think they could have spent all that tallent on something a bit more up to date.
And let’s not forget that in a soviet era avant garde movie - showing off even a “micrometer” in the title - you will hardly have had a woman doing the housework while the man was on the brainy business.
