It called “symbolism” - the PANTS represent a state of mind. The people have been convinced that they ‘want’ to show they ‘belong’ to a larger group of people that ‘believe’ such action is worthy in supporting by their participation. It happens in the fashion industry every day - - why “blue jeans?” Why “blue neck ties?” Why “mini skirts, Gucci hand bags or high heels?” Why Democrat? Why Republican…..WHY “”NOT”" Peace instead of WAR?
