I love u guys:)
RocketBoom, you are nothing more than a glorified propaganda outlet.
ok…..
First to say first.
Yet you seem to be clocking in at a definitive fourth… makes me fifth from first, finally finished full of facts! Blessings @ RB for continuing to deliver the goods all across the spectrum in full flavor!
i must detest to your previous statement. Every single country tells their citizens propaganda, its everywhere, and claiming that one tiny videoblogging site has the ability to spread brainwashing which is already being force fed to you beforehand is nothing short of ridiculous and idiotic. And it was a reporter showing what happens everyday for people to get to work. its no worse than traffic getting into new york at 5am. think before u speak
I would surmise from your reply that I’m not the one removed from the domain of sound thinking. Yours is a convoluted rant that irredeemibly and inchoately takes semantics beyond the realm of the surreal.
Let’s make that “irredeemably.”
Spelling can be difficult when using words larger than one is used to using.
You are both pretentious and silly.
I would like to see a lot more like this.
No, I’m an objector to nearly everything that RocketBoom interjects into the political conversation under the guise of objectivity. RocketBoom is a purveyor of specious propaganda. If I’m able to oppose it, I’ll take “silly.” RocketBoom refuses to examine both sides of the story objectively, period. I’ll continue to forcefully critique RocketBoom until RocketBoom is willing to adopt a doctrine of intellectual honesty. (I’ll take “pretentious” too.)
Perhaps Rocketboom will show you what what an obliterated Israeli bus looks like after it and its passengers are decimated by a bomb-laden, female terrorist.
And of thinking before speaking, what is the value simply “showing what happens everyday for people to get to work”? I would think that RocketBoom could just point their cameras out their office windows to give us that ‘view.’
I thought this was very interesting, I knew there was large numbers of people that commuted every day into Jerusalem and other parts of Israel but I’d never seen any real coverage. thank you so very much.
This is odd. I make an innocuous correction to a word I misspelled, and I’m voted down? We live in a true Orwellian world.
Will probably look a lot like Gaza now
As opposed to a trained pilot in an Apache gunship?
I have seen that before; but the American media never show us this.
this was very interesting, I wish they had made the report longer or even a documentary
Wow! Here is the US we know so little about the suffering of the Palastinian people. We are also unaware that we in the US unknowingly support all this suffering. Our mainstream news and entertainment media keep this info away from us. There must be a way to support both Israel and Palestine in a fair and just way. Right now we are not doing that. Thanks RocketBoom for showing us this.
I wonder if they are able to bring goods (such as food and other essentials) back across. And once they are across into Jerusalem, what is the process for reentering West Bank?
These are the conditions in which they live, and then people blame them for retaliating.
nathanhal the zio-nazi polluting this video’s commenta
Thanks for showing reality.
More propaganda for the masses? The cautionary Orwellian tale becomes a reality in these comments.
Why would anyone assume the proposition that Israel holds the key to their economic well-being?
Thank-you for showing us the concrete bunker that Israel must hide in to protect itself.
Are you some zio-nazi sitting in a chair while the IDF uses depleted uranium and white phosphorus on civilians as i type this? Did you get assigned to propaganda by way of deception this video’s comment box for fear of this 8000+ yotubers video reaching way to many minds?
The trained pilot in an Apache gunship is not looking to indiscriminately, intentionally kill and maime civilians.
I love this channel, and Joann, you make
MY ROCKET GO BOOM..
It’s funny because nobody here is willing to actually do something, just complain about it.
Sharing information doesn’t do anything, at all.
It beats being completely oblivious. Remember, kids, knowledge is power!
…They have to do this while their arab muslim Trillionair cousins do nothing but send them weapons…
Now prepare, because you are going to be accused of antisemithism. As if arabs were not semithic.
Until they look into who Andrew Baron is.
WOW that gas engine in that yellow taxi sounded pretty worn out or PUT some oil in it lol I know it sounds like a Diesal but I dont think it is sounds like a gas or propane engine
Isreal should hire only women from Gaza , no men .
Actually you are DEAD wrong. Sharing information exposes people to the fact that the media is brainwashing them.
Then they continue on with their daily lives. Information isn’t action.
What guide of objectivity? If you actually watched the show you would know RB has taken on the stupid notion of objectivity in the past and has firmly rejected the notion that they are seeking to be objective. And rightly so, I might add.
Does your bellyaching on this subject extend beyond YouTube bulletin boards, or is this your life?
Not to mention the fact that Rocketboom has covered the Israeli/Palestinian conflict on both sides to some degree.
I find it absolutely amazing that Israel allows ANY of these people to come into Jerusalem. I wonder how many more suicide bombers it will take, before they close ALL the gates.
What is your rocket (if it is something sick please don’t respond)?
Well, one could assume I was either talking about my brain or my rocket in my pants. Which one do you think?…
I love Rocketboom for all this different stuff they do!
Thanks Rocketboom!
While I appreciated the video that Rocketboom posted about Iranian bloggers, I appreciate it more when Rocketboom stays away from politics. You guys do better with lighter fare about Internet memes and cool things on the web. Videos like this really play to your weaknesses, not your strengths. Leave politically charged and divisive topics to real news agencies.
maybe they r.b should show a video of what would happen if there wasnt a checkpoint maybe a video of a suicide bombing at a bus stop .
or maybe lets see what everyone would say if 5000 rockets came down in texas from mexico .
we had 1 terrorist attack and we invaded 2 countries !!
got a nice response from rb
Hey dl.
For related coverage on the disputed territory of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, you might find our pieces on Qassam rockets in Sderot, Israel (http://www.rocketboom.com/rb_07_jul_09/), and Bordering Barriers: Jerusalem (http://www.rocketboom.com/rb_07_jul_11/) of interest.

I am disappointed by Rocketboom’s posting this. Without context and balance it is just inflammatory and uninformative. There are few conflicts in the world that present a black and white clarity and this conflict is certainly not one of them. I think a video presented like this irresponsibly provokes an emotional response that doesn’t motivate an understanding of the issues. I just feeds latent polarizations.
Watch the show regularly. You’ll see more sides.
iranian?!
why?
Because in muslim countries the women are repressed .
Uh oh, looks like trouble in Tuber land. What a bunch of knobs.
I thought this was fascinating. It reminded me in some ways (not all) of the chile pickers crossing the Rio Grande in the wee hours in West Texas. Only none of them could get a crossing permit. So they, um, improvised.
A nice piece to add to the puzzle. The endless, blood-soaked motherfucking puzzle.
I agree.
keep it coming.
I love these reports. You always do a great job of capturing a perspective that can’t be found here in mainstream media. I always find myself more appreciative of the things I have, after I watch posts of yours like this. Thank you!
Regardless of your attitude on whether Israel has a right to exist (I’m not sure myself), it seems childish to do rocket attacks and suicide bombings, and generally be against Israel in every way, and then wonder why there’s a wall. I wonder what the checkpoint to go into Jordan or Egypt to work is like? Does this exist? Why do they want to work in Israel, if Israel is so bad? Why not set up the factories in Palestine? I ask these questions because I genuinely do not know.
this is evenhanded
Thanks to Rocketboom for showing me this daily pilgrimage of people commuting to work somewhere else in the world aside from the world I know and live in. It is very eye-opening to be able to see this first hand via video.
RocketBoom always gives us the best of everything from a wide spectrum of subjects. I appreciate that. Thanks!
In case anyone had any doubt what Hamas wants and stands for.
Well DUH. I’d want to kill the US and Israel too if I was living in a near-death impoverished state sponsored by a massive US bankroll and perpetrated by the Israeli occuptation. It’s very easy to find conviction and purpose in religious fundamentalist hatred when you are given no other options.
If you want to “start” to have an understanding of the complexity of this issue, watch the documentary “Occupation 101″.
yeah, I’m sure it’s an eye opener…………..yawn
Yes, you posted a video about a terrorist group. But this terrorism exists because of decades of suffering perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian populus. The Palestian puppet government is corrupt. Israel is in total, brutal control. Underground resistances will always be considered terrorist organizations by those they are resisting. It’s unfortunate that Hamas finds it easy to use religion energize their cause. But that’s nothing new– remember the Crusades?
Propaganda from any side of a conflict will ALWAYS be EASY to spread. No one will ever ‘force’ you to think about the truthfulness or validity of any information. That said, “Occupation 101″ is an invaluable wealth of information on this topic. I promise it’s appaulling enough to hold your attention and keep you from yawning.
But if you don’t have the intellectual fortitude to be “informed” on an issue, then it’s naive and arrogant to spread your opinion. When the information is removed from an “informed opinion”, it becomes ignorance. I hope you enjoy the documentary.
And you’re asking questions that RocketBoom will invariably ignore by dint of their uber-liberal bias.
It’s intended to invoke antipathy for Israel.
um, no we’re not. I’m a muslim woman and I kinda do now that I’m not” repressed”. please please get your facts right before you make an assumtion^_^and ask some one who would know :P
And what country do you live in ?
You obviously dont speak for muslim women in Iran , Saudi Arabia , Somalia , Afghanistan , etc .
Another great eye-opening show! Thanks!
I won’t feel so bad now about my 20 mile / 30 minute commute to and from work, after watching what those guys there have to go through.
she’s in new york. well i think…
So what, civilians are more human than soldiers? A human life is a human life, doesn’t matter who they kill.
Israel, in the fight to protect its citizens, in only engaging and incapacitating enemy combatants, in deliberately minimizing collateral damage, is somehow morally culpable (and even more so), as opposed to terrorists who would wantonly kill non-belligerent men, women, and children, and who would use their own innocents as human shields? You have a particulary odious moral bankruptcy.
FUCK ISREAL what they are doing to the palistinians is inhuman, thanks rocketboom for posting this up and showing us what this poor palistinians have to go threw to work and feed there families.
Thanks Rocketboom for including such coverage.
No, this does not explain the Middle East Conflict. But it is a puzzle piece in the picture which is called “There will be no peace in Middle East without justice for all people who are living there”.
What is shown in the film is far from the worst Palestinians have to endure in everyday life. But it shows clearly what measures like the “security wall” lead to. They do not stop terrorism, but they make life even harder for the people who are living there.
I’m Joanne, and this is my new sweater…
This is almost as bad as the GWB tollgate into Manhattan.
god is of jerusalem
thank you, rb! i was disturbed by your earlier reports about sderot & the border, which left out any perspective from the palestinian pov. nice work providing greater context thru this post.
One has to keep in mind that after building the wall the rate of assassinations decreased to nearly nothing. So, this wall has been build for some better reason than to tease palestinians, hasn’t it?
They wouldn’t need the checkpoints or jew jobs if the himeys stopped destroying their farms & stealing the rest ~:) They R lowered on purpose so as 2 have a pool of slave biomass easier 2 exploit. Hey, kinda’ like whites love 2 hire mexicans, ‘cuz nothin’ beats a country full of people U H8, ain’t that right, Christbait? HAHAHA
I must admit my own corruption - was at a Mexican restaurant & some dood was bitchin’ bout Mexicans… WTF was I doin’ eating there giving them $? No more burritos!
well
am a muslem and i am egyptian
with this video or without it i would still hate isrel and partly the US
we had war against those guys and schools were hit by planes 500 km away from the fire line
so i wouldn’t assume these guys could “grow” dignity
any way RB thnx for the video appreciated
