I cannot believe you fell for those submarine racing photos. Obvious Photoshop trickery. If you look carefully at the so-called bronze shot, you will see the faint outline of the Big Island of Hawaii. That narrows the list of suspects considerably.
The sheer number of people wondering about JC’s hand suggests that there is significant turnover in the youtube audience. Or maybe they’re just not very bright and forgot that they already noticed.I could believe either.
A quick Google search suggests three possible causes:
1 - Light saber training accident.
2 - Lost an arm-wrestling match against Evil Joanne.
3 - Was minding her own business when the ex-host just freaking danced right over her.
Or maybe she slipped on the ice.

The Brandeis art museum story is particularly wrenching. The school’s endowment has tanked, thanks in large part to that swine Bernie Madoff. So they are making plans to sell their collection off to equally swiny billionaires who are still well-heeled and unindicted enough to afford it. This has a number of people who donated to the art collection rather miffed. I feel so sorry for those poor donors. Then I see the line for lunch outside the Rescue mission near my house, which is longer and has more women and kids in it than ever, and remind myself that they could be a lot worse off.
