A holiday treat for kids everywhere that will scare the begeezus out of them when presented in such an ominous format! That first inflated clown reminded me of something out of one of the Batman movies and sure enough the next shot was of a crying little girl. I’m not sure the flying Sponge Bob or Ronnie McScrawnie consoled her.

Must be something to see in person though. Thanks for the view on something most of us can’t get to.

Kids, lighten up! You’ll get your Christmas presents this year, just fewer of them and cheaper.

My favorite part this year was when those puppets Rick-rolled.

  3. Wow - what great children. Who are they? Citizens of New York City or children of tourists? Who would have thunk that they had the wisdom and sophistication to show appropriate signs of horror, fear and disdain at the commercial displays and abundance of dreaded clowns.

love this one better than the “death march” :-)

Say, is there a reason for alternating Crackle and Youtube? I find that crackle gets stuck buffering more often, and the embedded movies don’t show up in the RSS on Google Reader. I’d be a happy camper if at least the RSS was featuring only the Youtube embeds.

Thanks in advance, you wonderful gang of creative people :)

I ditto Ira but don’t use RSS. Crackle has just been stuttering along. Email on its way.

      2. I don’t have any problems, plus you can push the advance/scroll bar backwards or forwards easily if you want to watch a certain part of the video again. Actually it’s a crisp, clean image. I like it. Everybody, go buy a Mac.

  6. Dear Rocketboom, the new flash-player is awful! In my experience it is slow and you can not scroll back to the begin without it reloading the complete clip or stopping to work all together. That’s very sad for a show that I love to watch daily…

no, the proble is Crackle’s player and slow streaming server. As I suggested a move back to Youtube will set things straight again.

However, the fact this last week it’s been one day YT and Crackle the next and back again means they are considering a move and are testing the water. the reasons could financial or whatnot.

The problem is that as we said: Crackle sucks at the interface, sucks at the streaming server, and for some reason does not embed inline when I read the RSS in Google Reader. If I had a vote, I’d ask to return to YT.

Those kids are crying because their parents yanked them out of bed at 2:30 in the morning and made them stand on a downtown street corner in the cold and dark for hours before anything fun happened.

And then they realized most of the really cool balloons from years past have been replaced by floating ads.
