That comment was made because Ferris Beuller went to Wrigley Field in that movie. Wrigley Field is one of the last original stadiums standing, besides Fenway park. I really don’t care if you are a White Sox fan. These are amazing stadiums that I would love to see before they get torn down.

From an online-spectating point of view, it looked pretty lame.. =P Was it different for anyone that actually went?
I heard about how the music cut out during a portion of it, which kinda sucks. What confuses me, is did they play Twist and Shout over and over again throughout the parade? It works in a movie, you know, because its a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing, then they can cut out, and switch to the next scene.
Was it cool to attend.. or just kinda ‘hokey’?
