  2. Hey, before flunking out of college for the second time: I studied chaos theory. It was way too confusing, though, fur sure, but I do remember something about a butterfly vigorously flapping its wings to wreak calamity upon an otherwise balanced system. One Hell of a butterfly! Must’ve been on an ego trip. Or am I thinking of that fly in a sunbeam? Whichever. Pesky insects nonetheless.

Great show today. I love the facetiousness. And: way to go Fastcompany_Live, and ScobleizerTV!

Welp, looking forward to the Feb 33rd episode tomorrow, chow!

The opening music cried out for a baritone to do a sappy intro. (Wire terms, I work cheap for good people.)

I carried an organ donor note on my driver’s license without a second thought for years, before I had to produce my license to write a check for a plumber one day. “Organ donor, huh?” he said. I admitted I was “Only thing,” he said, “is I don’t want someone to go using up his organs and then coming for mine.” I had to admit, that had never crossed my mind before.

Can’t think of a cliche, sorry. My bad. (Oh, wait….)

In the infamous Hanoi Hilton, prisoners telephone-tapped messages back and forth, always careful to ID the other tapper as an American first, by exchanging the “shave and a haircut, two bits” rhythm. Try as the might, the Viet Cong guards simply could not replicate the syncopated rhythm.

Apparently, the same is true of Brits.

I haven’t said much lately but I do ditto your sentiment today. Does this mean you are outta here as per your comments a few days back?

Seems like RB has hit a rough patch lately even though nothing has really changed. Or maybe therein lies the problem. Also posting that the all new whizz bang system will make things easier and timely 9:00am posting will start from then on, and not delivering since, doesn’t make it any more enjoyable. Coming back 3 or 4 times a day to catch up on comments was fun when there were new comments to supplement but to come back 24 hours later and still see the previous show is a downer.

Granted producing a vblog such as RB is no easy task but maybe, as often suggested here by others, you should cutback and post 3 timely, quality shows per week instead of trying to keep up with 5.

      1. Hey C-C, you are right we have had a ruff patch on release times during the day recently and it’s been bothering me a lot more than you Ill bet. All I can say for now is that its been worth it for everything else we have been working on that is directly related - we just scaled up.

We’ll be showing off everything we are up to in Austin this weekend at SXSW so if anyone is there, come find me, Joanne, Kenyatta, Ellie, Jamie, Joe or Kenyatta - we’ll all be there.

As for the start times, here comes an interesting field report from Steve Garfield of Steve Garfield dot com, thursday will be up in the morning and I have a feeling you will really enjoy it and from there on out, lets keep a running score.

Im feeling like we made it over the hump, here is my deal:

Starting Thursday morning, everyday an episode is not up by 9am, once it does come up, we’ll send out Rocketboom key fobs for free to the first 10 people who comment and give us hell for being late that day.

Lets try this for a month, Im hoping to hold onto every last one.

Wait a second, you have key fobs?

I for one will not be carping on you for late posts, fob or no fob. I’m so much more about the message.

But C-C’s points are well taken.

  14. CC here’s why RB has been delayed. Headed by Darren Crowdy aka Drew or Joanne (not sure which) an important breakthrough has occurred…
