Am I going to get flamed if I say that the bit about pi being the ratio of integers, polynomials, etc, did not make any sense at all? (I am a mathematician)
In fact, pi is NOT the ratio of any integers, it is transcendental which means it is not the root of any polynomial with rational coefficients.
Phew, that’s off my chest now. Back to reality!
Pi is NOT the ratio of two integers. If it were, then it would be rational.
Paul Fetch is just a comedian and attention whore. He’s riding on the wave of the drama for his own fame.

@bman- Bill! yea. I’ll be going to Outer Space. Are you going into space?
S, no need, he’s already spaced out enough!
Sarah, that’s Billary! Space X-rays will do that to you, so be careful! I suggest X-tra protective clothing or a tin foil hat. (at least that’s what the manual says)
Yatta, I know RB has trouble with the days of the week…especially Mondays & Tuesdays. Must be all the Rocketbooming going on on the weekends. In any case, the asteroid will fly by Mother Earth tomorrow, TUESDAY, Jan. 29, 2008. In the scheme of things, who gives a light year anyway, right?
But isn’t it obvious, B-Man?
WE ARE FROM THE FUTURE!
That explains your technological superiority and extreme super-human agility. People from the future have all the fun.

In related news, asteroid 2007 TU24, as large as two football fields, passed by the Earth today at a distance of 334,000 miles at 3:33 a.m. It was the closest flyby of a known asteroid of it’s size since the last flyby of a known asteroid of it’s size.

Last flyby of a known asteroid of it’s size!

“& one day you’ll be able to go into space @ an affordable price instead of going to Europe”
C’mon Branson, why do you think I love going to Europe in the first place, so I can see, taste & buy all those…those Europey things.
On the “mother ship” squeezed into a seat smaller than the Concord’s, sucking on some freeze dried, dehydrated crap, it’s “Oh look, the curvature of the Earth. Er, isn’t that an out of control spy satelli…….
Well, let me tell you — space is the place. And that endless deep vacuum? I’ve heard that it’s to die for.
Guess already been into outer space?
typo: Guess who has already been into outer space?
WOW! That was an info packed episode! Joanne, I adore you, I like RB and watch every day. I even come back a couple of times during a day to check what’s going on in the comments section, however; I hope you aren’t offended by my not “… staying tuned until tomorrow.” Is it OK if I tune in again tomorrow? ;)
You can check out any time you like….
… but you can never leave.
Welcome to the Hotel California!
It’s a lovely place…
Such a lovely face (Joanne’s, not Clintons’).
I am Jennifer from Hildesheim - could you change FILDESHEIM to HILDESHEIM please? :-D Have a proper look at Wikipedia - the poor Ludolph was from the great city HILDESHEIM ;-)
