As always, Ruud puts a human face on the story.

But given all that has happened since this was filmed – the corruption revelations, the rioting, the ethnic cleansing — perhaps a little more context would have been good. \”Today\” for Ruud is almost two weeks, and many deaths, ago.

People at a polling place saying \”We need change.\” Hmm, where else have we seen that lately? Oh, right.

Kenya seems to be a country where democracy is so important that people are ready to do the revolution. (This is not like in ours western countries…)

    Hi,
Ask and you shall be answered it seems! I\’m not sure that\’s true for the Kenyan people generally but I\’m glad to hear from Ruud again. His African reports are always eye-opening and show a different side to both the country and the chosen subject.
As always, keep up the good work!

p.s. Sorry about the late commenting but I watch RB off-line most of the time on the iPod so I have to remember to come here afterwards. That\’s not the Web2.0 interactive dream I know ;)
