Hi, my name is John Thorpe, my friend has a 1 year old son that was diagnosed with cancer at 4 months old. He is currently on chemo treatments till April or May depending on his counts. On top of that he also has asthma, for the past few days he has been doing well, thankfully. Another friend of mine has unfortunatly been confined to a wheelchair, because the cancer has made getting around the house an extreme challange.
These two along with many others is the reason I am assisting the Children’s Cancer Resarch Fund to raise funding to further the research for children with cancer.
It saddeneds me to learn that an estimated 12,400 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, and that 1 in 4 die….. Can you imagine not seeing your 10th birthday for some not even their 1st birthday…..Just imagine what it must be like for the parents, to hold your child - your loved one while they pass on while they are right in your arms, and you can’t do anything for them…… that is why we need to act today and help the Children’s Cancer Research Fund to help in finding a cure……

Your plug for donations is not appropriate here. I can only imagine you do this on a lot of sites.
And you are misleading people by inferring that 100 percent of money donated to CCRF goes to help kids. CCRF gets a mediocre two-star rating from CharityNavigator because its fundraising expenses are so high — almost a third of all donations is spent on fundraising expenses, otherwise known as getting more donations.
There are much more efficient charities out there raising money to help kids.
