or whatever
Nice one! This stuff is great for the people who aspire to try Make Magazine projects but don’t have the courage to move forward. This option may give them the boost they need.
As Bre Pettis would say “Now go out and make something and have fun doing it!”

Nice one - good video too. Now why I am afraid to go to the buglabs website? Ay as my daddy used to say “Yieldth thou not to temptation”.
If tonight’s full moon looks unusually large, it’s not your imagination – it is the biggest and brightest full moon in 15 years.
Each month the Moon makes a full orbit around the Earth in a slightly oval-shaped path, and tonight it will swing by the Earth at its closest distance, or perigee. It will pass by 356,613km (221,595 miles) away, which is about 28,000km closer than average.

I thought I got a faint whiff of Limburger cheese out there tonight.
[...] Rocketboom visits BugLabs - great video! [...]
Good on you.

take that video and only it is 1/…..on the world
PS: I like it!)
This is the second time your video got munged. I’m downloading it two different ways (via Juice on rss feed http://www.rocketboom.com/vlog/index.xml and by iTunes for my iPhone.)
The video thinks its 1080p resolution and bogs down one computer and will not even load on my iPhone. Please tell the video compression gurus to get their **** together when pushing out the video. I would expect this hamhandedness from a podcast 4 weeks old, not from one four years old.
I really like the show and miss it like a junkie misses his fix when I can’t watch it on my iPhone when I’m out and about.
I agree with Ryenstein. There have been a few RB podcasts recently that have refused to play on my laptop (iBook G4) because it gets bogged down. I managed to watch the web version on of this one on it, but it only managed a few frames per second (which is still better than the audio-with-no-screen-update that the podcasst version was giving me).
Please get your tech gurus to sort out the video format. I’ve been watching for a couple of years, but at this rate I’m going to end up having to unsubscribe because it’s becoming increasingly unwatchable (for technical reasons, not content reasons). Not much point downloading a 60Mb+ file if I can’t actually watch it!

Companies like this are very exciting. Putting power back into the hands of the everyday user is an investment in the future.
I hope Rocketboom follows the ongoing development of this story.
haven’t been tuning in, but caught this one and like it a lot. I wish RB would move in the direction of this kind of stuff (interview-type pieces with forward thinking folk) than sticking with the “news” format. just my 2 cents
