Those kids needs some kind of happiness for a change
That was great. For once it’s good to see and hear something positive coming out of Afghanistan. Those kids were so cute. Great report!
On the bright side it’s hard to tell they are in the middle of a war zone. What a great concept. On the sad side, he did say it was a good way to keep the kids safe and away from land mines. I can’t imagine letting my boys out to play with that kind of fear hanging over us.
Agreed. We obsess over child protection here in the west, and yet we have it easy…
Have you read the first Kite Runner? If not do so. I too was most pleased by today’s video and also feel the contrast of evil around them. Either it’s desperation or joy in the children that makes their work so vibrant and joyful. I had the same feeling when I read Kite Runner. I guess if us adults really had the innocence of children the world might be a better place.
Didn’t read the book but saw the movie:Excellent!

Hey Drew, you just got yourself a new RB intro courtesy of the Kids in Kabul.
(joanne, that’s my Macbook Pro, I was wondering where it went…)
Beautiful children doing fun things as kids should but what caught my eye was the audience, girls/women on one side, boys/men on the other. Is that because of their religion or is it a school that makes them wear a black dress, white scarf uniform & sit apart from the boys?

There is 95% positive things in todays real Afghanistan, just not broadcast in mass media.
What does Rocketboom use to record the Skype video?
Hey Justin. We use Snapz Pro X for screen recording.
Thanks!
