First…. ;-)
WOW That’s amazing !!
I kid you not, the doc I’m making is for a movie that
A- shut down the Charles Bridge for a(n awesome) scene and
B- whose score features a ‘wine-o-phone’ (instrument made of tuned wine-glasses)
(http://rurl.org/p57) (http://rurl.org/p58)
too funny. awesome vid!
I guess you can do anything if you try hard enough
Now that was fun.
Very Cool. That guy is Good!
Now if the crowd would just shut up.
“those things mounted on his table on the left and right are heaters to keep the glasses from freezing.” -rcjohnso
That was great. Just one thing, how is it that he was able to produce those tones with a light touch instantly, whilst I have to spend a few seconds to get a sound?
Oh internet. Must every video come with an obligatory “fake” accusation?
Check out this glass music
watch?v=yELcErIi6MQ
wowza
No question if the glass is half-empty or half-filled
1:02 he actually started playing
that is great
eurorail I don’t know if you said that because you want attention or because you believe it but that is not a good way to look at the world, learn to appreciate stuff like this, there are already anough actual problems in the world, accusing somebody you don’t know and likely have never seen that they are a liar will likely not bring any good
what is the song called? I missed it when he said it and when I play it back I can’t seem to understand what he says or how to spell it anyway
I like the way that his fingertips just barely meet the rims of the glassware to produce such soothing sound.
Excellent playing; cool musical instrument!
“Um sir, do you take requests? Bridge Over Troubled Water?”
Ah yuk, yuk, yuk.
“London Bridge is Falling Down? Love that dirty water?”
yuk, yuk, yuk.
“Stairway to Heaven? Freebird?” Whoo, whoo, whoot!
Correct me if I am wrong but I think this only works on real crystal, rather than regular glass.
Nice. :)
ELVIS-I CANT HELP FALLING IN LOVE W/ U
Wow.. very nice…!
Nice party trick.
Perfect pitch. Amazing.
what is inside his glasses?
(besides water)
for certain pitches it works on glass.
yeah it only works on crystal.
piece of potato………or a rock……i have no idea really.
Amazing.
Just amazing.
And pretty darned good music, too!
I am seriously impressed.
5 Stars.
how is he doing that?
obviously by rubbing the edges of the glass…
bet it takes a while to get the pitch correct, hed needs to fill each glass exactly otherwise it would sound shite. brilliant stuff
Microphones, it looks like.
master
This reminds me of Bruno Hoffmann’s instrument, which looked like a box full of different-sized brandy balloons. Anyway, thank you, Alexander. it was delightful! You can come busk in my city any day. :-)
First you need some quality crystal glass, wet your fingers and rub the edge of the glass…..and you must be smooth in your movement. We would do this sometimes, on holidays at the dinner table. It can be a lot of fun for kids, or you….if you are still a kid at heart. Love…:)
