Anybody else do the math on yesterday’s Safaricom IPO offering? The shares were 5 Kenyan Shillings each with a required minimum of 2000. sh5 = $0.08CDN !!! That’s 5 Shillings = 8 cents Canadian. WOW! I wish we had IPOs like that here. Still, I guess $160 is a whole pile of money for many of the Kenyans we saw in the video. Good on them.
Oh and today’s show was cool too! I’d love to have one of those robots but Joanne asking if they will be able to love makes me think she has struck out in the Big Apple - oh no! What gives Joanne?
And perhaps noalou you shouldn’t hide with no relevant text comment. I don’t have a problem with “Firsters” as I recognize that achievement is hard to get so being first on a board is perhaps enough to keep “Firsters” happy and satisfied for more than just a minute. However “firster” comments without text are pollution on the comments.
