I’m trying to think of what I’d say if someone asked me that question…I’ve watched so many YouTube videos, I don’t know what I’d answer. :-)
ditto — though there’s a neat recording of “Watermelons in Easter Hay” on there (and now wonder if the Family Trust will get it removed for copyright infringement).
Maybe I would say that I only watch the advertisements — except that I have a big difficulty with telling the difference between “content” and “advertisement”. Maybe if Google put up a video that explained their guidelines or a tutorial about how their “search engine” works, I might watch that, but I still think “Watermelons in Easter Hay” would be less of a waste of time….

I never watch Youtube!!! I mean if I wanted to see Joni Mitchell, Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, Don Alias, Michael Brecker and Lyle Mays I’d go see them at a live concert, not watch them on a puny 2X2 inch screen. (Unfortunately two of the musicians mentioned are no longer with us.)

There is some great stuff on youtube. some of the yoga vids are way out there though. The rb vids are behind it seems. Katie C has some fresh material thats no where else. Its fun to scroll through once in a while.

To arrange something more than a full body rub
His voice is familiar and from where she stood
The agent, Ms. Lewis, thought it all sounded good
He liked his girls young and he knew they weren’t free
So the club hooked him up with miss Ashley Dupre
Spitzer’s adventures weren’t really that funny
The payment was taken in taxpayer’s money
The governor was having the time of his life
Across some state lines and away from his wife
But as we know all good things have an end
Regardless of how much money we spend
Caught out in his ugly web of deceit
His ass now rests on a very hot seat
Standing before the press conference he called
He makes no apologies for the hookers he’s balled
His wife by his side seems to have aged 20 years
Surely she’s realized the worst of her fears
Forced to resign under the weight of the shame
No way to restore that good Spitzer name
Decisions and actions that boggled the mind
A client referred to simply as “nine”.

What I like best about youtube is that it lets you hunt down little snippets that you never would have found before. Case in point, here’s Jeff Healey jamming his ass off with Stevie Ray Vaughan:

Yes this is me promoting myself a little, but one of my Favorite things to see on YouTube (besides Santeri Ojala’s guitar solo parodies before they pulled them) is older Comedy that’s still relevant again today. Ex: Slightly old Chris Rock segment from “Bigger and Blacker” about Clinton/Lewinsky/Hilary, that’s totally relevant for Eliot Spitzer. Plus ça change, plus ça change pas!
