The opening through the McClure Strait is indeed a downer for global warming but has also sparked an international interest for this Canadian region. All of a sudden everybody with world trade interests says this should be made international waters and wants to come traipsing through our backyard. That will definitely help the melting ice pack. Obviously they are missing the point (again).

  4. Strangely, I have a problem with my Presario PC that used all the processor power just to keep it on, even after I reloaded all the software from HP. I switched to Linux (ubuntu) and it runs at 5% or so. But I can\’t hear rocketboom, although I can see it. Please help. Thank you. Perhaps you could contact HP, I had this problem after upgrading the bios. There is no way to go back to the old one.

    I miss Jo\’s sophisticated ramblings.

        Thanks, I needed that.

I\’ll never forget the first time I saw this, and how the hair on my neck stood up when Jimi dropped out of his psychedelic freakshow and into the first chords of Wild Thing. That he was equally at home in both worlds is but one of the things that make him the best of all time.

      2. He occupied a thousand dimensions in vertical time. His music still hurtles through space, every note lighting up a 100 light years of dark matter along the way.
