Joanne refered to Ron Paul possibly pulling a Ralph Nader on the Republican party (causing a split in the vote which would then cause the party to loose the election). Although this assumption is often repeated and taken by many as fact; it has never been proven that enough voters who chose to vote for Nader would have voted for Gore (without Nader entered) to win Gore the election. Many Nader voters have claimed that they would have abstained rather than vote for either Gore or Bush.

Thanks for mentioning Ron Paul on your show. He’s truly an statesman in a world of politicians. Dr. Paul was against the Iraq war from the get go, and always maintains his principles of letting us live our lives in peace. He’s a regular person at heart, just as the founders intended us to be lead by.

My husband is a personal friend of the knitting drummer and can verify that he is in fact and actual drummer with chops. I am a knitter and can verify that he is, in fact, knitting. He’s is knitting in the English style of throwing the yarn with his right hand. So yes.. he is a knitting drummer.
