Wow, another amazing prank by bored Yuppies in New York. There was a time, my friends, before your numbers in our midst swelled, and we got along just fine.

Though it does beg the question: Why the &^%$ would anyone eat at a McDonald\’s in Manhattan anyway? Must be for the tourists.

That optical illusion was just a tad harsh for a Monday morning. Now my desk is doing that same undulating thing. Argh, coffee….

Burma: Thousands dead in massacre of the monks dumped in the jungle
By MARCUS OSCARSSON - Last updated at 15:04pm on 1st October 2007

Thousands of protesters are dead and the bodies of hundreds of executed monks have been dumped in the jungle, a former intelligence officer for Burma’s ruling junta has revealed.

The most senior official to defect so far, Hla Win, said: “Many more people have been killed in recent days than you’ve heard about. The bodies can be counted in several thousand.

Meanwhile, the United Nations special envoy was in Burma’s new capital today seeking meetings with the ruling military junta.

whoop-ti-doo where are the hundreds of UN Resolutions against this regime?
    Like I said last week:

    THE UN IS USELESS

Unfortunately these get harder and harder for me to listen to. The verbal cleverness gets in the way and I just tune out and quit trying to understand what’s being said.

I could have sworn they said if they got objections, they\’d drop the ads.
I\’m objecting. Hate \’em. And not just because I hate the Sarah Silverman show. Just hate things obscuring what\’s already a small screen.

The RB screen is small when compared to other credible vblogs; some of which even offer multiple size options for the viewers. Maybe making the screen larger while maintaining the current ad size is a compromise to test?
