who needs writers when you can just use 4chan memes
there’s over 9000 of them
I’d like to fill Imus with Cola and Mentos. Not in, like, a gay way though. God.
1st!
2nd!
Great episode
Indeed… super episode! Joanne… you are brilliantly funny!!!
Are you guys really in the Writers Guild? Seems unlikely, but I suppose anything is possible.
I remember listening to Imus on WNBC-AM 660 while riding the school bus, back when he had a functioning brain. Since then he has grown into some kind of brain-atrophied network lizard. BUT … he was the type of lizard that pols and captains of industry found useful, up until he made his little faux pas and accidentally revealed what a steaming racist he is.
Will he still be sought out by the John Kerrys of the world, or has he permanently dented his brand? I’m hoping for the latter.
No, we’re not in the WGA. I’m actually wondering if we’ll see more Hollywood writers start doing stuff online if this strike goes on for a while.
Know of any WGA members looking for temporary work? ;-)
I also remember when Imus didn’t sound like a fool, long long ago.
Dems were the days.
I know a couple, one in particular who was hoping against hope that it wouldn’t come to this. He had just come off a long dry spell and found a gig that paid well and looked to be around for a while. Oh well.
You may be onto something big here. Interesting thought, all those writer types heading to the web to try and make ends meet. (Ironic since that was pretty much the reason for the strike in the first place.)
I just hope they don’t run afoul of the Writers of Non-Lucrative Website Comments Guild. Our enforcement droids are programmed to show no mercy.
I write for you
hmmm…
I\’ll write for you
better…??? well, you B-The-Judge!
Also, I think the Startrooper and the mentos-pepsi gadget guy are the same person. Did you see the way they both swiveled their lips…
I\’ve never really cared for \”Imus-in-the-morning, jingle-jingle\”, ever.
Don\’t really know why.
Quote from today\’s show: \”…crazy, really different, it\’s going
to be a whole lot more poetic, I think, and less explosive…\”; words
well worth considering; and, I envy anyone who has a patentable nozzle
lurking in his/her laboratory.
Now this just in from Imagination Central:
Hey, a herd of magnificent, resplendent, magnanimous,
regal, sublime, and divine elephants are romping past my door!
Everything is being shaken. Most of my reference books have fallen
off the shelf. I\’m walking over there right now to see which few remain in place…
Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
See! Where would the world Bee without writers wearing 10 gallon hats.
(Fawke Off B-Man!) ok, ok, I\’m going…last post today, I promise!
Strange. I have this sudden urge to re-read V for Vendetta.
the movie’s better!
Nuff said!

omg!
The elbow slip at the end was too cute!
What can be more poetic than Mentos & Coke, I can\’t wait!
I shall be chucking my effigy of old Guy on the bonfire tonight & blasting off all the fireworks I\’ve been saving since the 4th of July!
Trivia Quiz: In which song did John Lenon say \”Remember the 5th of November\”?
lp
Remember - Plastic Ono Band solo album.
Do you know what it refers to? (I don\’t)
Doh! I just got it; little slow today, must be the cold temps up here!
Wrong! …think early Beatles.
Sorry, technically you are right, he does say that in that song but that\’s not the one I\’m going for.
I\’m searching all my Beatles songs right now but I can\’t find it!
Excuse me?! I don\’t think so! Go give it a spin. It\’s the last line just before the explosion sound. Good trivia question though!
But I\’m racking what\’s left of my brain and can\’t get the one you seem to have in mind.
Hey brah, I\’ve had Beatles on the brain since early childhood, plus all afternoon today, and I can\’t think of the tune you have in mind. I hope you\’re still looking through your vinyl collection…
It may take a week but I\’ll find it if it kills me!
I\’m still digging too!
John Lenon ?????
Now I know, the writers are really on strike!!!
See that wasn\’t your last post for the day smartass! For me it was early, no coffee & I was in a rush to capture this:

first snow of the year here!
I know, I lied Kam. Perhaps Joanne can lend me that book she was reading.
Where are those observatories? Cool shot! Pun intended.
This shot was taken from my driveway…oh you want actual location! Several observatories belonging to different countries sit atop Mauna Kea volcano @ 13,860 feet here on trhe Big Island of Hawaii.

You have a driveway? Lucky stiff.
A driveway with built-in observatories. Can anyone say \”star power!\”
You one lucky man, Kam.
I used the perspective on the observatories and Google Earth and I think I found the driveway. Looks like it could use a power-washing.

Big Chunk Of The Universe Is Missing — Again
ScienceDaily (Nov. 5, 2007) — Not only has a large chunk of the universe thought to have been found in 2002 apparently gone missing again but it is taking some friends with it, according to new research at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). The new calculations might leave the mass of the universe as much as ten to 20 percent lighter than previously calculated.
**********************
Kam, could you please take a hike, I mean, take a walk up that mountain. Aim a few of those telescopes 2 inches to the left of your 3rd eye and tell us the truth. Is a big chunk of the universe missing? (please answer 2-3 hours after bong hit). Can\’t trust mainstream media anymore. First the universe is here, then it\’s not. With your 6 observatory telescopes you\’re the only one we can trust… (please destroy comment before or after reading it)
LESS explosive?! Terrible idea, get MOAR EXPLOSIVE!
There are other ways to clean out the dust on a PC but this one is by far the most fun I\’ve seen. Hmmm, I have 3 old mid towers taking up space here in the office, some C4, some free time and no one else is around … back later! (Attn DHS: just kidding about the C4)
Joanne, here\’s a real… just in…breaking, aching without da fakin\’ news story… you can use tomorrow… courtesy of GOOG NEWS
Google to enter mobile phone market with software

GOOG NEWS… with each new conquest, I think they should add an extra \”o\” to their name as they continue to conquer the planet,
one pixel at a time…Gooogle.
/my last post, really!
elbow slip ->roflrofl :) -I can has coeffxent of funny?
Elbow slip? Or has Joanne merely been drinking again…? Remember her infamous first casual Friday? :-)
Hi Joanne - given your current fixation with Method (that\’s a pretty hefty textbook!)… perhaps Rocketboom could start having Causal Friday instead? :-)
OMG!
I am *SO* falling off my chair and ROFLing!!
;D nmw
Rocket/b/oom
rule violation?
Huh? How and why?
Is this the same Rocketboom that interviewed Joseph Kony? What happened?
she is hot
LOL
“Don Imus is back and ready to hit the radio with his take on….STUFF”

Wow this seriously sounds just like my philosophy class……
