A tribute to The Lady in Red. Will have to check out Wired.
Your telekintic powers keep growing exponentially. Soon you will be ready to manipulate entire galaxies far far away (as if you haven’t already…gush, gush)

(this is 5 minutes well spent)
Forgot to say….FIRST!
First with a link to the flat screen thing, in Saturday’s comments. Are you getting the show before the rest of us, or reading the RB zeitgeisty mind, or wormholing back and forth to the future?
The latter Nab. I recently befriended a time traveler from another…er…dimension…let’s just say, place…Heading to casual Friday tomorrow. :)
Then there’s this…
http://www.local6.com/slideshow/news/13360459/detail.html
What a pleasant surprise to see a post on your Memorial Day! I stopped by out of habit figuring on reading any new comments to Friday’s post and BOOM! there is a fresh one already up - thank you RB!
I’m artistically challenged but I can’t wait to see how people Photoshop RB onto that cover of Wired! Great catches Joanne!
my entry for the contest:

not too original, but I had fun doing this, and that’s already a success :)
so it seems I discovered a bug in the autolinking feauture, try again:

Nice one!
But the bug in autolinking looks more like a typo in your URL!
Not a typo. I explicitly created a link with < a >, both the href and the link text was a full URL, and the autolinking still did its job, totally unnecessarily, resulting in what you see (the html source is even worse)
Sorry! It looked obvious but then I looked at your blog and you obviously know what you are doing! Nice stuff!
There is a big, thanks for the notice. Here is the image linked in, nice one :)
Too cool, how can one compete with that, very creative!
Actually it\’s far from perfect, I\’m just an enthusiast amateur, and I know that because I\’ve seen people do much better, really amazing stuff with PS, but thanks anyway :)
Very creative, good stuff!
I just realized that Iraq rug looks like the state I live in! (without the soldiers thank goodness)

Here’s another one:

Here you go!

Thanks for the intro to The Resident! 4 minutes turned into 12 but I like her style and the editing is good too.
Sure is quiet in here today. I guess them Americans take their long weekends rather seriously!
maaan, I\’ve just realized that there\’s a hi-res tiff version on the wiki, and I based my previous works on the jpg, I totally suck :) hey, I\’m gonna make a third one!
At this rate you’ll get 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize!
yeah, I was just wondering, I expected a huge competition here, and I guess RB did, too
It\’s a holiday in the USA today; nobody is home!
another good idea, the implementation again not that good:

OK, now I\’ll ask! My idea this morning involved bringing a straw into the glass and now you have her eating the page, maybe you could work that in to it?
The first one gets my vote!
Should\’ve moved the mag and the eye in the middle of her forehead. My time traveller buddy has a 3rd eye…oops, wasn\’t supposed to tell. Too late. If I never post again, you\’ll know why…in which case, I leave all my b-links™ to Nab.
my try:

Cool! That background could replace the famous map quite nicely.
I’ve saved my entry in Photoshop, so please tell me how do I get the image up here? Nab…or anyone else who won’t take my other arm & leg!
You can always host the site somewhere like ImageShack where they host it for free.
http://imageshack.us/
…Or you can send us all tickets and we’ll visit you in hawaii and tell you what a fabulous job you did. By the way, are the arm and leg both from the same side? Or did you have the good sense to give up your left arm and right leg…the world needs some balance afterall.
To post images, use the code:
Where the link is the direct link to any .jpg, .gif, or other kind of image.
People can upload images on our wiki and link to there as well.
This is a test…
Drew it didn\’t work. Can you use that to post any image?
Tech support, I wanna have some fun too!
B-man, you linked to a flickr page, but not a direct link to an image. This particular image, as seen here:
http://flickr.com/photos/chrisser/472449564/in/pool-flowerthemes/
…is set up in a way that the author doesn\’t want you to share it. Usually there are links to flickr images above the image that say \”all sizes\”. Also, usually with most flickr images, you can right click on the image and copy the address.
ma petite contribution :
