I usually browse the entire internet with my morning coffee, must of missed a couple of websites that day. I should get a refund from the Speed Reading Internet course I took. They garanteed 30,000 sites per second or your money back. I’ll try not to slip up again Sharon. Maybe if I walk around with my new internet umbrella. I should be covered.

MakerFaire is actually pretty cool. It really is like burning man but without the smelly hippies. I went last year when I was living in Oakland. I met this guy who made a giant robot giraffe and there were kids making their own electronics. Some of the stuff I didn’t get but it was definitely worth a Saturday out of the city.

The fair sounds like fun but guys, in the interest of trying to be constructive, watching the three of you sit motionless in front of a camera describing it was, um, less than captivating. The stills helped a little, but….
And more to the point, if I didn\’t already know what you were talking about, I still wouldn\’t have much of an idea after watching the report. OK, it\’s people making stuff. What\’s it LIKE? Where do you get the parts? Does everyone sleep in one big tent? You have to assume that at least a chunk of your audience needs some basic hand-holding. Yeah, links help, but you\’ve got video right there at your disposal to play with. C\’mon, kick it up.
The servers got overwhlemed for the last couple of hours, should be good to go again.
