If you listen to Joanne, the answer is 9187. If you check the dates, the answer is 9207. Should I demand and edited RB, a recount, or my money back?
You\’re right. 946+1470+1606+1610+1643+1912=9187. 964+1470+1608+1610+1643+1912=9207.
What\’s the big discovery in L.A.? I\’ve had bacteria living in my pits for years.
Sorry to burst your bubble pal, but If Bush resigns you get Cheney.
It can\’t be Monday, I still have rum left.
Actually, it\’s Tuesday!
er, no it\’s monday (where I am anyway)
Oh oh! That might explain a few things around here today but not leron\’s leftover rum.
@ mary - it was a joke, but thanks! So where are you anyway? In case you forget one day you could count on your RB friends to help you out!
Just remember that wherever you are; there you\’ll be!
Thank God it\’s Friday!
*** I\’m an interdimensional being. Yes we too get RB!
Wow Joanne, sounded like you did all that on 1 breath!
I sure could use one of those sleeping bag walking suits right about now. I\’m not ready yet for another wee… zzzzzz
What\’s with haqattelaw annas? Did you mention it at all in the episode? Now I\’m probably going to be visited by Homeland Security and asked all kinds of embarrassing questions :-).
jav, I was wondering the same thing. Has rb been indoctrinated, and just what is it we signed up for when we clicked on that vid?
You signed up for ballet lessons, now put your tutu on!
just deserts bakery wasn\’t mentioned in the vid, either, was it? Or is it just me?
That was the bakery that Joanne called on the show last week to order a cake for the professor that was the subject of the story.
Yeah, I know it was in a previous episode; but what does it have to do with today?
And Erin from the lab responded to the comments from last week\’s story.
But did the good Dr. ever wrote a thank-you for the double layered-chocolate cake, or wrote back to answer your question about how people feel about the privacy issue?
That chocolate cake guy was so HOT!
It is Monday, right?
Interesting stuff.

Let\’s go now to watching paint dry!
haqattelaw annas: 29 minutes of unintelligible bullshit.
& wth\’s a bakery in Lincoln NE got to do with anything?

It\’s post-post-modern deconstructionist dadism. :-).
java it\’s Dada, haha, tata!
love it
No-one has commented on the big X on the back of the piece of paper I am holding! So, allow me. I have been on a paper recycling rampage for some time now and try to get my colleagues to print less, discard paper less, buy less (and only buy recycled paper) and only use paper at all when absolutely necessary. So, when printing out the script for the day, (which I haven’t been able to do away with yet), we use paper we have already printed and written on prior. To avoid confusion, I pencil out previous scripts with a large X. No-one asked so I assume no-one is interested but either way, now you know.
I would like to carry out all the tasks necessary to bring you Rocketboom each day without the need for paper at all including napkins, note taking, script printing, paper cups…
But it doesn’t stop at paper. I think we can all aim to perform our jobs, build our businesses, complete our daily tasks and live our oh so full lives in many less cluttered ways. It’s not just about the environment. Simplicity, both inwards and out, creates more space for living. Now, back to that piece of paper, that brand new unused large white blank page…
What does the X have to do with disappearing bees?
Once they\’re gone, you won\’t need paper, 4 years hence.

Joanne, you would have to hold the center of that paper up to your nose for most of us to notice that \”X\” :) And I mean that in the nicest way possible.
How about a teleprompter (get Bre Pettis to make one!) or other screen just beside or below the camera?
Christian do you mean a solar powered teleprompter made of post consumer recycled materials that also serves as a water filter and a composter? Yes I love that idea!
That’s the one! Although; our compost can get a bit rank sometimes. You may want to keep that for a separate module, and outside your work area! However, if you are up for the worm farm composter that can be done indoors and have the wind powered generator option run the teleprompter and water filter.
Seriously though, I’m going to try the worm thing this summer. It will keep my boys busy too. We saw a segment on the Discovery Channel the other day and the Univ of Toronto has a facility that handles just the cafeteria organic food waste. It’s a bit industrial for our backyard so we’ll have to scale it down a bit but we’ll give it a go and do our part.
Cheers!
Christian is my teleporter working yet? I need to get to Hong Kong, pronto! There\’s an exhibit I want to see.
As we stated at the last board of volunteers meeting, we can harness sufficient wind power to operate the demoleculariser on most days. The deactivated nuclear missiles we recuperated and use for transport have been adapted to hydrogen power but it is the remoleculariser we are still having trouble with. Since we couldn\’t ensure sufficient gerbils to power it at the multitude of destinations we tried transporting them in the relocator missiles but they keep getting air sick and can\’t always produce the power needed. The results with our volunteer testers have been less than favorable with some semi-regenerated body parts grafting in the wrong anatomical positions. I strongly suggest you use conventional transportation means for getting to this exhibition and hopefully we\’ll have things buttoned down tight for your return test; I mean trip.
Two cheers for recycling! Or maybe just one, used twice.
Teach the worms to spell out the script and you may have something there.
Good one! We started last night and can get them to form simple letters like \’C,I,J,L,O\’ but they refuse to cooperate with each other to form the complex characters because they don\’t want to touch each other. Some of the older ones tried making letters themselves like \’A,B,F,M,N\’ etc but are now complaining of back and groin pain. Also because they have to alter their thickness at some points it looks like the font is changed to bold in the middle of a word and I don\’t think Joanne will accept that.
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Joanne, you forgot to add \”…and a beer dispenser…\”

Why didn\’t someone tell me about YTMND? I feel so ashamed. I may throw myself in a tar pit.
