Hypnotic.
Visually and aurally stunning.
I\’d love to see a behind the scenes/making of a casual Friday.
To the beat, yo.
Cool ! Another Fancy Friday production for our viewing pleasure :)
Very creative.
Who’s the music by?
Mesmerizing
Very creative again! Another fantastic Friday episode and a great way to wind down (or up) for the weekend.
Kuddos to the RB crew!
Thank you & have a great weekend all y\’all! I\’m outta here.
Cheers!
That\’s the second hula hoop video from New York I\’ve seen online this week.
WIN
The deconstruction of images to support the sound versa the sound supporting the image. Interesting concept, but what is the message?
Regards,
Denis
Wait, there’s vegetation in New York City now? How does it survive all that smog?
Ok, I admit, todays show was a bit “blah”. Nonethless, summer has arrived in the big apple from the looks of it.
Ok. You win. That was an amazing way to start a Friday. Thank you.
Beautiful.
S-I-M-P-L-Y W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L!
Brilliant!
Reminds me of Beethoven\’s \”Pastorale!\”
Creatively captivating casual (friday) cinematography! Mystifying melodic music.
Beautiful profile, I know women that would kill for that nose but I\’ll treat you to an expensive manicure if you like luv!
I raise pigeons.
Upside down grass is my favorite.
High & outside, ball 1.
Hmmm, I wonder how much time women spend plucking their eyebrows.
Last frame, infrared? walking backwards, way cool but careful hanging pigeons inverted, the blood rushes to their heads & they explode!
later people
Well, I normally don\’t like casual Friday but this one was very compelling.
Nice Job Drew and gang.
Very enjoyable on this beautiful day on the east coast.
that was awesome!
good to see some liked it - I thought it was too long
I thought the upside-down grass was interesting
probably hours of shooting for a few minutes but for me it was two minutes too much
Time for a nap.
Delightful.
What does eyebrow grooming say about one\’s personality?
Are you, like them, pointy at one end Joanne?
What does eyebrow grooming say about anything, really?
P\’raps we could all use a plucking, and a three minute gaze into the middle distance.
Cool…I thought it was a bit longish as well. It sounds to me like the soundtrack was made in GarageBand?
That was hot!
They’re putting me jail for 45 days, I hope the guards are HOT!

Wow! I\’m rockboom it!
Fantastic music and pictures! My iPods\’s favorite…
Kris and I received many puzzled looks in the park as only we could hear what I was prancing around to. Is it not New Yorkers who have the reputation of being immune to “behaviour that is out of the ordinary”? Admittedly, it is Spring and the city is part tourist, part resident. Perhaps some of our more bemused onlookers were not New Yorkers at all.
As a resident tourist, I would find my behaviour most odd were I to stumble upon these performances of seemingly inexplicable antics.
Safe to say, the resident performer dwells comfortably in the tourist’s permanently temporary space.
I was coming out of the subway on Chambers Street one day when from below I heard a serious commotion. Into view at the bottom of the stairs popped a gnarled-up old woman with a couple of shopping bags on each arm. She was taking the stairs two and three at a time and trying to do more, stumbling as she climbed madly. Beneath her old-lady coat she was wearing jeans and sneakers. It took me a second to realize this was not an old woman but a kid dressed up like one, some bag-snatcher wearing a disguise. Hot on his heels were two cops, one uniformed and one in plainclothes. The kid shoved half a dozen people this way and that on the stairs as he rose toward the street. The cops shoved a bunch more. They were getting closer and just as I wondered whether I should do something, a guy on a step below me tackled the kid. He was getting up as the cops reached him and tackled him again. Everything in the bags he had been carrying basically exploded all over the steps. The kid nearly got away, the cops were down to a hold on one ankle and he was pulling away, when the civilian who had intervened kicked him square in the mouth, sending blood and teeth flying. By this time I had reached the top of the stairs and watched them cuff the kid and slam his head into the concrete landing a couple of times as they cussed him out. The plainclothes guy thanked the civilian who simply said, “I’m from out of town.” No one else on the stairs, and there were maybe 100 people, had even twitched, not even the ones who got shoved during the chase. Most weren’t even looking at the spectacle as they made their way up to the street, stepping over the stuff strewn in their paths.
Those people staring at you in the park? They were from out of town too.
Now that RB has moved you into a relaxing weekend groove,
let Stevie take you the rest of the way….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4_H3ZPwndk
Ah, the second Austin City Limits show. Stevie had been clean for a couple of years and had silenced all the critics who said he was all coke and no heart. (Though people who knew better had never said that.)
I love the raw energy of Texas Flood, and the cross-genre mastery of Couldn’t Stand the Weather, and the stunning homage mixed with psychedelic cowboy licks of Voodoo Child (Slight Return), and the rocket-powered precision of Tightrope and Crossfire and so many other cuts. But Riviera Paradise, the last song on the last album Stevie issued before he died, noses out Lenny as my all-time favorite.
Thanks B. Have a nice weekend.
I’m headed out in search of kam’s pigeons.
We can blink our eyes too!
We are The Pigeon Collective.
Cleaning up our poop is futile.
Hula Hoop Man or Hula Hump Man…..couldn\’t take my eyes of him.
Very nice.
Deconstruciton: The message is: Enjoy.

Here\’s the story… of a lovely lady….

That was an awesome song. where can i get a copy of that? what\’s it called?
Bill Clinton warns of looming disasters
By JESSE HARLAN ALDERMAN, Associated Press Writer Fri May 4, 6:27 PM ET
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Former President Bill Clinton said Friday that disasters such as worldwide famine and an obesity epidemic could destroy the U.S. health care system unless politicians begin to look ahead and cooperate.

Funny, those same problems existed while Bill was in office, plus he was a \”prime-burger\”
example of American obesity. Did he do anything about these issues while acting President? No! Nothing!
Now that he gets $300,000/hr on the lecture circuit, he can act and speak of things
as if he were the second coming. (Monica Pun intended)
Typical of all politicians current and past –They only seem to have solutions
after they\’ve BSed their way through office.
B-man over & out (this article pissed me off, so I had to post)
Drew, How about \”What\’s you beef Saturdays? RBers could just post amongst ourselves?
(just a suggestion…)

C\’était vraiment un très beau épisode ce vendredi!!! Merci
Bravo!
Music is by .. . . . . . . .. ?
I like how Joanne looks like the \” thinking man\’s Amanda\” in this. It is very stimulating in ways that the past host never was.
Artsy fartsy CRAP. Boring. zzzzz.
Omygosh! I\’ve never \”seen\” music before. Delightfully ingenious!
Someone\’s using my name and my old blog address to spam this page. *points to the marina above*
Why???
Absolutely fantastic. I love rocketboom.
