I agree that I’ve heard these buzzwords before, but the difference is that we have now come to a position where we’re technically able to realize these visions. The problems with internet today are rather social/cultural and economical. I’m talking about censorship, (For political or economical reasons) net nuetrality, accessibility (I’m not mainly talking about disabled people here, but people who aren’t uised to the internet, like old people, kids doing their first exploration, and countries where the internet hasn’t been around for too long)
These are the things we need to worry about, and I think the buzzwords serve a function there actually.

sponspored™ - new/term coined by B-man June 20, 2007
– A small, usually single-celled reproductive body that is highly resistant to desiccation and heat and is capable of growing into a new media organism, reproducing itself by way of certain bacteria, fungi and algae. Once you are sponspored™ you willingly act as a sponsor, patron or backer or guarantor for an individual or organization.

I’m glad there are a lot of people smarter than I figuring all this stuff out. Technology is so, so yesterday.
Has anyone been noticing the video restarting about 15 seconds in?
This is far fetched, but I use Opera, and sometimes I choose \”Open\” for downloads, and then click to open the file while it is downloading. What happens is of course that the file opens again when it has finished downloading.
