      2. No erectile dysfunction here.

        Or..

Is this an ad for the Little Blue Pill?*

*any use of this potential new ad concept using a light sabre is protected by B-man copyright™ The possibilities here are endless. Kam, if approached to create an edgy ad campaign by the makers of “V” perhaps we can team up and clean up. Are you game?

As much as times are tough there by our standards, and we bitch and whine about world organizations not doing this, that or the other when viewing Ruud’s other clips; it sure is nice to see shows like this where some badly needed services are indeed being successfully delivered.

    Great work again; Ruud!

And thanks for bringing it to us RB!

    Rock on.

    2- poor camel

3- how about a rock concert to build these kids a library filled with books

4- free bicycles for all library card holders

5 - Paris are you listening??? Now that you\’ve found God, you can use your \”party-hardy\” money
to perhaps build these kids a library…no ifs, ands, or butts.

    Why I hate The UN

Infanticide, Abortion Responsible for 60 Million Girls Missing in Asia
    Wednesday, June 13, 2007
    By Sherry Karabin

There is a little-known battle for survival going in some parts of the world. Those at risk are baby girls, and the casualties are in the millions each year. The weapons being used against them are prenatal sex selection, abortion and female infanticide — the systematic killing of girls soon after they are born.

According to a recent United Nations Population Fund blah blah blah…

Well UN POP FUND, why not in your infinite wisdom set up
an adoption agency where parents from around the world
who cannot conceive a child are allowed to adopt these girls
without any RED Tape. If this were made available and publicized
the abhorrent practise could eventually be stopped. If they
don\’t want girls because of this insane cultural custom.
I\’m sure 1,000,000\’s of loving families out there do.

All I ever hear is how difficult it is to adopt a child.
The UN should play a primary role in assisting adoption worldwide–that goes for you too UNICEF

Tired of all these sad tales. It\’s 2007! Not 1000 BC.

B-man is on a rage rant!

    and

  13. S–the article wasn\’t just about China. This practise happens in many other countries where men are prized. But if some organization was put into place that made them aware of their \”sick\” practice and even coerced them or offered some incentives, perhaps they\’d stop. Especially if $$$ were invloved.

If a camel can walk it, a mountain bike can ride it. Locate the library in a spot that would be accessible by bike. Or build a damn subway under the sand. Enough whining from a world that cannot solve the simplest problems…a world that is more obssesed with Paris Hilton than …oh forget it.

So how about that rock concert? \”Rocketboom Regulars Raise Riches for Reading\”; there\’s a headline! A subway may be a bit far fetched under the circumstances (lack of funding) but bikes, books, and water aren\’t. Thinking ahead though, bikes need parts, tires, pumps for air, and tools but that can be done too. Books: a distributer here in Montreal made the news recently because he owed taxes so the city seized his inventory and had it stored for 2 years. Then they trucked the 40,000 books of all kinds to the dump because they couldn\’t move them and wouldn\’t donate them because that defeated the purpose of raising the outstanding taxes through sales.

      Just brilliant.

I\’m sure with very little effort we can locate \’cleaner\’ books to send as that dump receives I don\’t know how many tons of refuse every day. I wouldn\’t mind doing something but not digging through there!

No B-man. It\’s just that Jamie is playing around with with background colors, and \”special\” gets you a grey background (as well as your very own Olympics). Class \”god\” gives you a pink background, and also the ability to delete or edit anyone\’s comments. I wouldn\’t mind having a god account so I could delete spam (and fix my typos), but usually I prefer a white background because it usually works best with pictures. But I can override the gray by setting the style, as long as that\’s allowed.

        Here\’s something in white.

        Here\’s grey again.

      3. Just turned the gray backgrounds off — it does mung the pictures. \”Special\” users are logged in with RB accounts & will get a cool icon or something. :)
