To the Theseus\’ ship question, I have determined this. The statement Theseus\’ ship, means that he has ownership of the boat, so it still is Theseus\’ ship because if he were resurrected, he would receive custody of the ship, regardless of how many planks had been replaced. If you don\’t play with the wording though, it still would be the same ship today, because if a boat is registered, it\’s registration remains the same regardless of the replacement of a part. But that doesn\’t apply to Theseus\’ time, when there was less nautical bureaucracy. This one is much harder then most other classic questions.
For example:
If a tree falls, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? Yes, a falling tree is moving and all moving creates vibration, and all vibrations can be heard as sound. But even easier is; what is the sound of one hand clapping? woosh.
I\’m going to suggest that the form is still the ship of Theseus\’, but the boat is never the same boat from one moment to the next.

Re: Your question about Theseus’s ship. Are you still the same person, even though pretty much all of your cells have been replaced over time?
Every cell in your body is completed regenerated every 7 years. Imagine the brain you had 7 years ago, isnot the brain you have now….So who are you? or Who am I? Where did the \”you\” that was you go?
