We all could use a hug! Central park is a true wonder of urban planning. Many people don’t realize that the park is not natural at all. It was manmade and has managed to remain a treasure of the city of New York. Virtual hugs for you Joann and Andrew. Maybe someday real hugs. Thank you for making my Friday.

Damn treehuggers!
I am sure that whatever Hug is accused of, he/she will get a fair trial, and if innocent, will be free soon enough.

I wish I lived in New York (sigh).
Be LIke A Tree™

Nice tree, but I think I’d rather hug Joanne instead :)
hug a tree today…they deserve it…without them we would all be DEAD!
I like this - almost as much as your chair video. :-)
Shouldn’t that be “Tree Hug?”
I like this too … unconditional love. Trees are great; always comforting. Thanks RB.
The music today once again was excellent. And that was a great idea for a caus. Fri.!
By the way, I’ve hugged all those exact trees before, not so very long ago.
P.S.: The latest verrsion of the Unofficial RocketBoom episodes Remix is now out there!
What, no dogs?

Trees here charge a buck to hug them & there’s always the danger of them bombing you with a coconut so be careful.
later people
In the next 24 hours, 200 million people will make love on this planet, as
they do every day of every year.
I wonder how many trees will be hugged during the same time period.
But how much of that can accurately be termed “making love?”
Perhaps that’s a question for Joanne’s next field report from the sprawling streets of NYC
Hey, a squirrel now there is a tree lover for sure. I wouldn’t suggest hugging the squirrel but just imagine…how much he loves those trees.
Central park is a magnificent and inspired design accomplishment.
I consider myself lucky that my closest “big” city also has a unique, albeit not as famous park.
A smidgen smaller than Central Park, it is the largest forested natural area within city limits in the United States: Forest Park of Portland, OR.
I guess CC from Montreal has left for New York. What do the two cities have in common? Both Central Park (NYC) and Mount Royal (MTL) were designed by the same landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. How do you like them Apples?

OK Nab, stop messin’ with the + & -
Hug the tree, get luck!
I didn’t see a comment, so I must write - Didn’t anyone else notice that the video seems to have been distorted - i.e. “squished” vertically? Makes everyone look quite short and stout, but I guess it lets us see the trees within the frame’s format.

We hug trees too!
Throw away your old worn out dishes!

7 bucks for a piece of plastic that cost less than a nickle to make, I think not…this works, I think it\’s dishwasher safe & microwaveable!

Is that Mother Mary in the middle surrounded by a shroud?
Even if yours is holier, (watch out for the lineups to your kitchen cupboards) it doesn’t have a cute illustration of a tree-hugger. As an artist, you should know that that makes all the difference.
What a wonderful outpouring of love. All one.
