OMG, do you realize how lucky you are? If you were standing just a few feet left of where you were, you could have been killed by those carts, and you could have possibly been bowled over by hundreds of people. Next time, wear a helmet or something! Please, do it for the children!

Very \’moving\’ episode! And you still had your purse, wallet & cell phone after all that?!

Do you do the crazy artistic experimental stuff in house or do you have guest crazy artist experimenters come in and make them?

Either way, another jealousy inducing job well done.

    1. As with this one, we usually do the Friday’s ourselves but recently we have started up several Friday episodes with other collaborators which should be finishing up soon. We want to do more of this too.

No jealousy please! Its good for nothing, how about collaborating on a Casual Friday instead?

Anyone else have any ideas? Thats always the hardest part.

I think you’ve been doing fine in the ideas department so far. In any case, this was truly beautiful. How SLOW life suddenly is! Great job on the music as well, whoever that was. So: thank you!

If Joanne could present to the public in a provocative or challenging way that elicits or requires responses. If you have enough money, maybe she could offer various pedestrians a $50, sincerely of course, or a 20 second spot on Rocketboom, or a gift certificate to a sponsor\’s establishment. It is one thing to solicit opinions or feelings about should, could or would. It is another thing to invoke a real situation.

i\’m kidding, too far away for me
i love your special shows, without sound at the beginning
i\’m almost waiting for these ones as the normal one
and as karina left mobuzz, you don\’t have any concurrent anymore ;-)

    1. I was trying to read the clock in back of her before I saw your comment. I could not tell for sure, but it looked like the minute hand went from about :10 to :50 or so. I could not make out the hour hand, with the resolution I had.

Ha! Great effect towards the end! I adapted to the high speed of motion during the video, so as it fell back to regular speed it felt like super slow motion for a while.

\”…I AM SO PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN…\” if that action instills USA pride there is a HUGE problem brewing down there. Sadly there probably is no posse left inside the wall of the house either to exert revenge as the bee crowd scene was most likely to protect the queen on her jaunt for fresh air and all available subjects would attend.

Kam, go see Ehrensenf today; it\’s \’duo Friday\’! I tried to translate via dotSUB, because they are trying to start a cool \’social event\’, but snagged a bug on dotSUB which got me in touch with them directly. Hopefully have it ironed out next week.

It had a nice \”Baraka\” vibe to it. For anyone who has not experienced that film and liked what you saw in today\’s Rocketboom short, I highly recommend it.

    1. BARAKA is one of my all-time favorite movies.
The first 5 minutes are magical with the monkey in the pond.
And Drew, as a music lover (and composer myself)
the soundtrack is one of the best ever written.
The music & images are magical. This is a DVD you want to own.

Too bad Joanne didn\’t do her Whirling Dervish dance in the middle
and have everyone swarm around her like a magnet…which would
have pulled the sun 12 feet closer to Earth and caused plam trees
      to grow in GreenLand.

(on a philosophical note: this could have been a subliminal message
on the effects of \”plus\” and \”minus\” First you\’re here, then you\’re gone.

…and you can\’t take your iPhone with you

    1) Amazing video. Well done by all. 2) Joanne, you were standing in freakin\’ Grand Central for over 30 mins. and you weren\’t mobbed by crazed RB fans. Not one request for an autograph or picture. I am either impressed with your overt covert skills or disappointed in all RB fans in NYC. 3) JoCo, you\’re still smokin\’ hot, even at a distance.

  16. I thought this was about the piece of paper on the floor. I was mesmerized by its little lifespan, being the only piece of litter in this vast expanse. Then the video shifted to normal speed once the paper disappeared. I thought the paper did an outstanding job of remaining as stationary as one could expect being underfoot. Only after reading all the posts did I realize that JoCo was there too. Hmmm. Have to be more observant.

  17. When I complained a few weeks ago that your machine gun editing had got out of hand, I never dreamed you would take my complaint so deeply to heart — a single, episode-long take! But the results are breathtaking. One of the all-time great RB episodes. I am in awe.

  18. Who stole the crumpled piece of paper and what was written on it?

I swear I saw Joanne use one of these, watch closely:

      2. FINALLY…notice the lower left-hand corner, do you see the pyramid and circular football stadium on the Mars surface? Joanne was to liason with a NASA informer who had the complete scoop, but it seems he never showed but left a paper trail (as in one paper) on the floor that was scooped away by a Raelian counterspy. Joanne, being the pro she is, saunters off likes this is just another day at the train station.

I, on the other hand, am a totally disorganized, inconsistent, inattentive flake & deserve a RBt way more than you.
