  1. Great camera work Ian! I wouldn’t have minded seeing more footage on you learning the craft …seems like you are going to a mighty ice craftsman. Truthfully I’d also like being able to look at a some more footage- like the dreidel. Maybe you could link us to your flickr account Ian if you felt like being so bold. Good episode guys!

  4. Nice that you scheduled this along with the cooling trend in the northeast. Ice festivals are a tradition in my area and I was wondering if they were going to be a possibility.

Speaking of ice, I have been looking hard for a neutral discussion of global warming. Everything I have found on the web has been very politically one sided, which I think is dangerous for such an important phenomenon that nobody really fully understands. Anyone have any good sources?

  5. Very cool.
I would have thought they would use molds to make most sculptures . . .
Good music, also - sounds like Django Rinehardt.

  8. I’m reminded of the James Bond movie with the ice palace, the space-based death ray, and the security thug who comically announced to Bond “I’m Mister Kill”.

  15. Killer shot of the chainsaw through the ice from the side, ditto for the drop of water falling from the snowflake.

    Great work cuz!

  18. You’re in big trouble now leron, just listened to Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood on YouTube. Just as it finished I heard a news bulletin that the polar ice caps were melting at an unprecedented rate.

    (don’t worry…I won’t tell anyone…)

  19. Anytime art, ice, and Lao Tzu intersect in one place, you know it’s going to be cool.
