  11. Since you’re rehashing old news from the day before maybe you could feature this one tomorrow.

Mystery as thousands of dead birds fall from sky

THOUSANDS of birds have fallen from the skies over Esperance and no one knows why.

    http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,21035741-2,00.html

Well, whoever passed gas in Manhattan (Drew nervous about meeting Steve Jobs?)
sure did a number on Australia.
And while we’re on the subject of old news, perhaps Joanne could attend one of these events and interview the participants.

  14. “green” warheads-
Ok let me get this straight - …. I have typed this message dozens of times now, but I keep backspacing over it all. This just doesn’t make any sense AT ALL.
But I think I can come up with some snide remarks
    1. I’m glad the EPA regulations are not in effect in foreign countries - The Warhead that would be killing everything near it will be landing in this space. Afterwards there won’t be any environment to protect.
    2. A “green” engine on a warhead is like cutting down the rainforest so you can plant more trees.
    3. Well I hope the enemy comes up with a ICBM that destroys their country, but when it detonates in our country causes no damage.
    4. How about developing a warhead that only kills politicians? Then we can kill all the idiot leaders and live in peace!

Pass the pipe, maybe this would make sense if I take up drugs.

  16. Some people watch one episode of Rocketboom, see our lovely Joanne for the very first time, and go traveling off to Bonkersville. It’s not funny though. It’s sad …!

  18. Modernization of old nuclear wepons is a good idea! Safer, modern, reliable wepons. Hey, if you are going to have them, make sure they are reliable. If you are a pacifist, then you will favor total unilateral dissarmamant. Yea, that’s a good idea. Oh, and I guess critics would argue not to modernize? Hmm, old rusty nuclear warheads. Yea, that’s safe. By the way, more environmentally conscious fuels will help because you have to test fire and transport the things every now and then too. I think hydrazine may be used (also used in spacecraft) but quite poisonous if it is released accidentally. Yes, I know, nuclear wepons would be quite poisonous too…Ha, Ha…

  19. I spoke too soon about the new iPhone. Sure, it’s a wonderful device. But $500 is far too much for what they are offering.

Ugh…. Apple is like a “high maintenance” partner. I’m glad I dumped them 12 years ago.

And Steve’s claim that the iPod is preferred by a “wide margin” is just marketing nonsense. Sandisk is winning the MP3 war.
