  1. Am I the only person posting here?

  4. How exciting - Saturday Rocketboom!

Cool fight - although certainly a long way off La Tomatina in Spain or the orange fight in Ivrea, Italy. Or the enormous flashmob water fight being lined up for London. Could I suggest that we europeans might put a little more effort/obsession into this type of thing?

From my own experience, I can confirm that being a participator is a heck of a lot more fun than being a spectator…

  6. Great video, thanks again to everybody at RB :)

John >> Andrew did the music for last year’s pillow fight :)

Interesting note about the cameras, but honestly we are really, really grateful that so many people take pictures. The regular shots become our memories, the videos make us smile and the aerial shots allow us to do accurate crowd counts.

Hopefully this will make the front page of Digg…

  7. I finally finished editing my footage from the NYC Pillowfight…

It’s a shame that loading this video to You Tube turned it from a very pretty video into a mess. I also uploaded it to Google Video and it looks slightly better…

Can anyone recommend a video hosting site that doesn’t compress the videos into a horrible pixelated mess?

  8. Interesting. I really didn’t expect a Saturday show. I wonder how many photographers there were per pillow-fighter. Looks like 1:1 ;-)

    Andrew,
great coverage of the pillowfight! Meerkatmedia couldn’t make it this time cause we were a few blocks over at the NYC Grassroots Media Conference. Last summer we put together a video about the Bubble Battle organized by the same folks:

  12. Nifty! Someone should send the link to the soldiers in Iraq! I bet they’ll be tickled pink to see how much time their fellow citizens back home have for fully pointless demonstrations! (While apparently very little for taking to the same streets to stop this fucking war!) Oh well…
