The web help me find my legs
Me too!
Me too!

Mike, you are cranking these out really fast. Love it!!
As opposed to Casual Friday, yuk yuk! jk D.
As I like to say, it was a Friday so “casual” it came out on Sunday. ;-)
It\’s ok Yatta, Drew, we covered for you…
Me too!
So the net is 10 years old, huh? Here\’s a question: what would you be doing right now without it? I\’m not saying we can\’t live without it but it sure has changed the way a lot of things are done, and has reshaped a lot of peoples time as well. Its capabilities and capacity have not yet even reached Joe Average, yet it seems everyone is plugged in via one thing or another. A huge chunk of what is \”in\” right now is made by Geeks for Geeks. The Net has yet to be democratized (or Republicanated - but I won\’t go there!). There is still so much that can be done - or not. Maybe the online hype will saturate, and the bubble will burst as we take off on some new thing-a-ma-jig.
Happy Birthday Internet!
Easy answer for me: I know I\’d be at the library a lot more. I\’d probably watch a lot more tv, too for as bad as it is, I *have* learned a lot from PBS, Discovery Channel, etc.
Totally agree on the for-geeks-by-geeks thing. I spend half my waking hours trying to figure out how that\’s going to play out and the only thing I ever come up with is \”We\’ll see….\”
Good question CC. Drew, I think there’s your casual Friday for this week. Joanne should hit the streets and ask passersby (the snagged ones) what they would be doing if there were NO INTERNET. Joanne can break the ice with. “Did you know the internet has been around for 10 years? Then the followup question. “What would you be doing……?”
As for myself, I’d be in Bre’s workshop inventing a little gadget called the iPhone. Where’s my hammer?!!! And who is Bre?
Nice segue B-man! Don’t forget the bailing wire and duct tape for the iPhone, or would that be a Bphone?
That would make a great show. Maybe start today to be on time for Friday! ;)
I would be calling Sears to find out when their fall catalog will be sent and to see if I could pay to expedite shipping.
A tally run for the next month?
ONEWEBDAY2007
Crap. I hate when that happens. Worked in Preview. Anyways, here are my legs, so to speak!
Oh brother! I\’ll try 1 more time…
& which set belongs to your lovely wife mate? ;^)
all of them…CCs a busy man
I can\’t reply - she might read this!
Don\’t be so modest you lady killer. Besides you need special RB 3-D glasses to see the other set of legs.
If I can only find a pair of shoes to fit my web feet I\’d gladly share this with you Kam or maybe I can walk on water and meet you half way.
Forgot to mention, that\’s how we can celebrate Web Day 2007!
Did somebody say Web Day….where\’s my computer?
OneWebDay == FĂȘte de l\’Internet (in France) ?
I took a look at the RocketBoom episode about OneWebDay 2007 and uploaded my own video!

Take a look - and email your video thoughts… All the best, Andrew!
