First! Love it!
In the little picture show at the end of the broadcast, there is a photo of a kitten in a green lime helmet. I\’ve been a member of the net community for quite a few years well over a decade and remember this picture being passed around for ages. Anyone else have such a memory of this Picture
That\’s Limecat! Limecat was my desktop background for a good year or so way back when.
Hmm. Shoeboxed is free and doesn’t “currently” support any advertising. So why do they exist? And do they generate, or plan to generate, any revenue to keep all those German apartment-dwellers licing int he style to which they have become accustomed?
Perhaps the answer lies in this little tidbit from their privacy policy:
“Shoeboxed may use the information listed above to: enforce our Terms of Service, customize and improve Shoeboxed’s software and website, provide customer service, resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems, inform users of targeted marketing, service updates and promotional offers unless you opt out and verify your identity.”
So, they take great pride in bliocking spam, except for the spam they plan to send you?
If there’s another angle here and I’m being obtuse, please enlighten me.
By the way: Their ToS seem to grant them rights to any intellectual property they collect through the administration of their services, while at the same time assuring people that they retain copyright. It probably won’t be long before a group of “diverse and experienced” law students in an apartment in Prague is working on that.
Good points Leron!
Nice dancing Dan, but Duke sucks so shoebox must suck.

I already have a bunch of shoe boxes I’m trying to get rid of thanks to my wife. Why would I want another one?
Shoeboxed, sounds good but I’ll stick to my old system…

OMG, don’t wear it tilted back, you’ll kill yourself.
oh the humiliation!
=) That’s pretty excitable. For a fairly new business it looks like they’re doing pretty well. They might need to work on their cleanliness though…
Was that Madonna that the government was dancing to? 0_o
