hmmmm…. where’s “Crespo’s Creepy Comment of the Day”? Must be sleepin’ in…..
Nice ep!
Fifth
Didn’t Joanne say yesterday that the rest of this week was going to be “…behind the scenes of making Rocketboom”?
heroes and leaders take all forms! we all owe a debt of gratitude 2 mr. pulver, and must follow his example!
Hi All,
Having not much to say at the moment, I will not say too much.
I can’t believe it’s been five years. It’s still painful.
Interesting interview, even if a bit ego driven. I feel like I’ve been Pulverized (sorry).
Turingtest…Nice tunes!
So Pulver says:
1) Don’t regulate VoIP as telecom or a telecommunications service.
2) The reality is that the public phone network of the future will be IP based.
No contradiction?
Great interview with Joanne, Jeff… and a plant.
I love that plant. However, I wish it would have spoken up more. I mean it was featured so prominently, I would have expected it to share its views a bit.
I thought that the plant made some excellent points. Sometimes it is the absence of words that truly speaks.
Hi Joanne,
Good interview, five years ago I was in Atlanta, watching CNN… difficult to talk about. I was born in Manhattan… yeah it sure is difficult share my thoughts about that. Easy to share my thoughts about you though, well that seems hard today too. See you next time Joanne Colan, I knew typing your name would help, pretty name for a pretty lady. A very pretty lady, that’s what you are Joanne, a knockout. The next RB can’t come soon enough, or maybe it already has, what time is it? How long have I been writing? What year is this? Joanne!!! Oh Joanne…
Please start spelling spetember right again, or is it some secret joke I don’t know about?
911 is a car..
And Joanne, I love you too..
My compliments…that is a nice plant.
Nice show today…interesting. Has anyone else seen the slew of commercials recently by some big telecom (can’t remember off the top of my head) talking about how voip is a “bad idea” because you may not be able to use it if the power goes out? It seems to me the kind of commercial a company puts out when they’re scared. Really scared. So they start a little smear campaign in their own gentle, “stay the course” way.
Watching today’s ep made me think of one for tomorrow. How about obesity in developed countries….
Is there a trend that rich white nerds are fat?
(and it wasn’t you Joanne that made me think of that! You are fantastic. You look beautiful, sound beautiful, your comments/questions are beautiful - all beautiful)

Joanne - that top is a poor choice for interviewing… it isnt as camera friendly as you should have.
IP is just a better form of communication because it intelligently knows each person or computer who has the IP instaed of just a generic radio. Plus I hate radio station lettered nanes as it’s so messy.
I have also heard that digitial wireless, when deployed, is allot safer with less radio freqency. Better to control so I hope they get usniversal coverage via satelite one day and we can take down all these phone lines.
