  3. Bonjour,

    Interesting.

It is nevertheless important to also integrate the fact that the use of technology gadgets has limits and harmful effects on the users : human ones, particularly concerning the psychology aspect : dependence.

    Bonne journée,

    S.

    P.S

    C’était un Rendez-vous ( à Paris )

The end makes this “cinema verite” masterpiece.

  6. I think interview was awesome and we did not need to see gadgets - we can see those at engadget web site or through RSS feeds - Joanne did a great job drawing Peter out - critics - take an attiitude adjutment pill (soon to be available in electronic version) [Joanne - do not be swayed - you are ON TRACK!]

  8. Yeah - good interview -
    people and user oriented
    rather than product.
    An approach to questionning
    that opened up and engaged.

.. unlike so much new media.

    soit, a bientot mes pots.

  10. I thought i’d post this musing:

    Bill Gates and Steve Jobbs
    get together for their annual
    insider trading session, Bill
    has sheepishly brought along
his zune - and discovers to
his delight that so has Steve.

    Steve swiftly links to Bill’s
zune and pumps some tunes at him,
    and Bill reciprocates.

    Steve Checks the newcomers
to his collection and is mildly
amused to find he now owns
(for 3 days or 3 plays) the
    entire works of Wierd Al
    Yankovich.

    Bill fairs slightly better
    and get’s the entire Beatles
    catalogue + some U2.

    Bill sit’s and thinks about
    the implications behind this choice
for a few seconds and then sends
Steve a recording of the meeting
he had all those years ago with
    some guy’s from IBM.

    Suddenly there’s a zune link
up with a third party and
    both Bill and Steve recieve
a new track .. they listen
to them and hear nothing but
    laughter.

    Looking round they see Linus
    Torvalds sitting at another table,
he’s got an iPod and a Zune
    and a new operating system
    for both of them.

    ; )

    later all.

  11. I was in the kitchen when I heard the Bach. Whoever chose the Bach has fabulous taste in music. My respect for RB just went way up.

  12. I prefer the interview from a few weeks ago, with the guy who had an entire store devoted to soda pop. I like soda pop better than I like gadgets.

  15. Andrew please, PLEASE stop adding “music” to every eispode to try and make ordinary objects or events seem “exciting”. Just because I take a video of my pencil with Canon in D playing in the background does not a good video make.

  18. a retro-emo typewriter…

what exactly makes a typewriter emo? is it black?

what about flash lite? that will make it easy/easier for cross platform development.
