so i just discovered the wide world of vlogs (vlogging?) yesturday, and i gotta admit that its pretty much one of the more awesome things on the internet. your show is really entertaining and even inspired me to do one of my own… when i figure out just how the hell to do one. congrats on another fan

I like what Amanda does best! That dance cracks me up everytime i see it. I have sent the link to the original full dance scene to my firends and they are all like WTF!, but then they say that they watch it over and over again and they cant stop watching it. I also have that clip on my ipod and i show it to people all the time. It is nice that you have given me this joy, that i have had hours of entertainment from.
Much more than the SSDS, who in my opinion, dance like donkeys!

What a great surprise! Dancing beside the statue of Peter the Great in St. Petersburg??? How the hell did you do that? Were you actually there or was it video magic? My favorite city!
Now this is the next dance I’d like to see Amanda attempt. It goes somethng like this:

There is another dance group called SSDS. It’s the local swing dance group in Syracuse, NY. Syracuse Swing Dance Society.
If you ever get to Syracuse you are invited to our weekly hop which takes place every Thursday from 8-11. Unfortunately we don’t do the star move but we do the following :West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, the Hustle and sometimes the 2 step.
If you’d like to do a segment on us let me know and I’ll see if I can arrange something for you.
AMANDA: if you think that joining this dance society will improve your skills, you’re lost.

Hey, I enjoy your v-blog, discovered it via Tivo. One thing I’d like to mention that I’ve noticed on all the shows so far: can somebody please fix Amanda’s microphone? It sounds like it’s across the room from her and is not picking up well … lots of echo and stuff. Try an ECM44B lavalier, or maybe a directional shotgun mic if she doesn’t want to wear a clip. The poor sound detracts from an otherwise good show. (I’m a former TV engineer, BTW)
