Just discovered Rocketboom and I love it. Great vlog! The elephant on the trampoline brightened a dull work day.
Have you every considered having Ms. Congdon wear a lapel mike to increase speaking volume and reduce room echo. Just a thought.

Many years ago, while building scenery, I lost my grip on a belt sander and watched it zoom across the shop until it unplugged itself. At that time I thought races of that type might be fun, but then I got back to work and forgot all about it until today. Thanks for the memory, and for showing that I’m not the only crazy carpenter in the world. ;-)

Both of my cats are now padding around the living room with their all new orange helmets on. Now they have resumed their life’s mission: sleeping, fully protected with their Florida Naval headgear intact. Pretty funny. I wonder how a cantaloupe would work on the dog! And yes, you should try this at home. Thanks for the cool tip Amanda.

In response: my other four cats were less forgiving. Boone, on the other hand, was totally ambivelent to the F.P.E.S.’ presence. I woke up unscathed the next morning and everything.

Actually, the limecat thing is familiar enough where I think I had seen it beforehand, but I was more inspired by a photo of a cat with a stuffed frog riding atop it’s head. Really, I barely gave the concept a second thought and only cut the thing out on a lark.

I just loved the cat helmet and applaud that feline for his being a fine sport and putting up with a rather, silly human.
The belt-sander race: happened just a piece up the road from my neck of the woods. Glad to say I didn’t attend.

Amanda has become incredibly more self-confident and mature since Episode 2.
She is now the picture of urbane elegance, back in October, her make-up was stout and her eyebrows were.. let’s say she’s improved.
The genius was always there.. but now, she is ready to groom for taking over the Tonight show…or be the next Letterman… yeah. that’s the ticket
