5 Tips Before Upgrading to Windows 7, 2053 comments

Very nice. Amanda-light episodes aren’t always my faves, but this one is an exception. Good choice.
Well done reporting from Mr. Elmendorp. How amazing it still is to me how the computer is now connecting us with world image links and community. The rocket sailing by and reporting on it!
Rocketboom=A daily surprise!
Insulated, narrow-minded Americans don’t want to see this kind of stuff. American Idol had its biggest “opening share” to start its 5th season, that’s where the minds (or no- minds ) of the average American focuses his/her attention.
“If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem” –somebody once said this
Great stuff. More like this in the future please.
RUBBLE RULES!
RocketPeople:
Compress the damnable files. It is pointless to have 3 minute clips if they take half an hour to DL @ 54Mbps.
informative episode today, amanda.
a good friend of mine has been heading up a group called HOLLYWOOD ARTIST ALLIANCE. it’s a bunch of people here who have banded together to donate money, materials, and labor to build houses in one of the tsunami torn villages. so far 37 homes have been built, which has obviously made a huge impact on this village. kinda inspirational too.
if anyone is interested in getting involved or hearing more contact:

Thank you RB!
You’re definitely spreading the news about not being insular in the wealthy part of this planet.
Thanks!
very interesting, good to see some unbias video footage of people doing everyday things in their now changed lives.
I just want to say: your show is gorgeous!
Greetings from germany!
I want to integrate a commenting forum like this on http://www.nycbl.com website. I have looked at phpbb…..but you segregate comments into groups…..too anal.
Any input is appreciated.
Hey Andrew—
Only 17 count em 17 posts today as opposed to your usual 35 to 40 .
That number speaks for itself. I wasn’t being rude, just telling it like it is. If you can’t take the truth stick it in your ear. I did not attack you personally. Why attack me??!
Listen to the Lionel show on WOR 710 in NYC. The man says the same thing and more and he’s a loving, loyal US citizen.
Stop thinking you’re the center of the f%&%&*%*king universe.
Again 17 measly posts! Ask yourself WHY? Think dammit!
Instead of attacking me!
B-man
doesn’t andrew baron usually post under the name Drew.
b-man , i think u may have the wrong person
but what do i know…i still believe millia vanilli was set-up…and i was only 10 years old at the time
713 out
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a 3-minute video is worth millions of words.
Thank you–it means a lot to see something other than replays of the tsunami waves, and to see how the people are trying to rebuild their lives.
Cheers,
Connie
I think today’s piece was excellent. A departure from the norm. losfeliz: posted a wonderful post.
My point is that the US has become a celebrity obsessed culture and important stories as the one shown today are generally ignored by the media and American society in favor of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie having a baby.
I commend Rocketboom for mixing it up- Ninjas one day, Lennon tributes, X-box frenzy, etc. etc. etc. That’s what makes me keep coming back.
Amanada’s quirky intelligent style makes it all work.
My post was a general observation and a wake up call. Harsh, maybe!
Did you know 2 trillion dollars has been spent in Iraq so far. Every ghetto in America could have been rebuilt with all that money and millions of jobs created for those dealing crack and smack.
For those who disagree enrol in a University Social Studies class and get the real scoop on American culture.
Reality TV hasn’t been as successful as it has been over the past 5 years for nothing,
I see myself as Planetary Citizen, not confined to any one particular country.
Nothing wrong with a little contoversy either. Keep mixing it up Rocketboom.
Make us laugh and makes us think!
Over & outta here
B-man
This is (among many other reasons) why Rocketboom is worthwhile watching every day. Which is what I do since about one year. I find it very stimulating to see that there are ‘other americans’ apart from those I hear from in the regular news every day.
Keep going please, as long as you can find the spirit to do it!
its official!
ROCKETBOOM SUCKS ASS
Since I started blogging a year ago I have made the rounds reading others’ blogs, and now vlogs, but my life is not so empty that, when I found one not to my liking, I felt the need to attack them with such crude and cruel mean-spiritedness as this ‘gawd’. If you don’t like RB, don’t watch. It’s that simple.
Thoroughly enjoyed the doc. Really like the mix of the serious and the nutty - good balance!
I think that SUCKS is now spelled KICKS in the new Indonesian Alphabet. So you may be forgiven for not being up to date.

amanda, next time you’re terribly bored, you should practise the pronunciation of ‘tsunami’. there’s a T at the beginning, see? yes, i know it’s hard. but once you master it you can impress strangers at parties.
Great, a fellow countrymen (NL) as field correspondent :-) Although i would like to see your comments on it (straight from RB HQ) not only show these clips but give some food for thought with it so we actually HAVE something to discuss about. B-cause now the discuss is sad… keep ehm coming RB and never shy away from some experiments…
Wasn’t that entrepreneur inspiring. There was a terrible tragedy, he dug in and got to work which is bettering the lives of many. (His family, the fisherman, the people that buy the fish and on and on)
Meanwhile the Democrat gentleman sits on the porch of his cabin and awaits Teddy Kennedy and friends to come clean up his lot for him. (Did you notice that not a stone has moved from the property?) But! He has time to sit all day and wait for someone to do it for him.
i like the ninja thing and everything else too. i am ninja too!!!!!!!!!!!
this was one of my rocketboom-favs! more of this stuff please!
It’s good to know that Rocketboom wants to help educate people too. I liked it!
