Awesome transitions. Love it!
the video stops after AC says, “no i ate them all”
i have reloaded several times….will try again later.
OSX10.4.3
I’m experiencing the same problem as Notstan.
Dear Folks,
Nothing like stimulating dinner conversation. Studies suggest that good dinner conversation is actually good for your health. The only thing missing was an old man spinning a story about an adventure at sea… We was 3 days off of Nantucket when suddenly a northeast gale started a blowing, when suddenly I saw….
Seriously, You Rocketboomer do wonderful work. Enjoy you festivities.
What, no dessert? Cool behind the scenes on “MN Stories”.
So is the end of today’s installment really broken, or is it a nod to Friday the 13th?
Things that make you go hmmmmmm. ;-)
Amanda:
I know this firsthand (trust me). The website you’re pushing, A Million Little Lies has been set up by James Frey himself.
Yes, it won’t play at all from iTunes and it stops when Amanda says she ate it all. Otherwise, very well done! We just needed someone to burst into the room with some startling news of someone at the door, or whatever.
Business must be booming… Rocketboom moves from one room apartment with desk and map to multi-million dollar mansion….hmmmmmm
think I’ll go kiss a chicken!
What was for dinner? Did the guys cook it or did they make Amanda don the apron? Can’t wait to see what is for desert on Monday.
I’m hungry now.
Yo, RB:
Life is good!!!
Today ( Friday, 13th of Jan. 2006 ) the sound was very low.
Food seemed to be good.
G.
Nice digs. All you needed was a butler tripping over a tigers head.
Nice ending, but if you’re going to give guys who usually just extemporize on camera lines, maybe a few acting lessons from the divine Ms. Congdon might be in order. ;-)
I love it! You guys are great. Keep it up!
Nab, its probly a file space/bandwidth thing is my guess… Hey RB, how about putting every episode ever made on a dvd or two and selling ‘em for cheap $?
Definitely watch the Behind the scenes folks, its worth it for the bloopers and bc Amanda laughs a lot in it.
Have a great Friday Everyone!
Perosnally I do like Amandas news programs more, they usually have better sound quality too. It’s all about quality Amanda!
I agree with Chris_LB although I’m afraid not a lot of people on the other side of the big pond know about “Dinner for One”. But that was my first impression: Amanda alone, toasting to her long gone correspondents, while Drew has impersonate them and drink for them all.
Nice work today.
Daniel B. from Germany
I agree on the archives. There are so many new people coming on board now and they deserve the God given right to waste hours each day twiddling around your back pages. It is part of the charm of RB. Put those babies back up or create a sub category where you can link to them. I mean, the brilliant post-election Amanda Funk is the next one on the chopping block and losing that would be tragic. Is there another way? The archives are gold.
hey amanda, are we related? i don’t usually hear of many other “congdon’s” out there…
see ya later cuz,
matt congdon
Jajajaa… awesome! very funny! You guys have to repaet this, it was great!
Hmm. Whats with a first class dinner with coach attire? Nice location though. Glad you have a sense of taste.
Very creative, as always Love it!
And what was the dessert?

This is unicef’s reply to Harry’s comments on Bush.
this is my favorite rocketboom so far, out of all of them. you were all wonderful. i loved the dinner format and i wish i could see it more often.
editing was hilarious. chuck is cool.
That was a great episode today. Keep it going!
TeraLink Was Here! ;-)
P.S. Feliz Viernes de Trece!
Hmmmm…….Try the Wine?
Good show
The audio was too low. I couldn’t hear most of it, even with my computer volumes and iTunes volume at maximum.
Hmmm, audio is low and slow on my laptop tonight. It doesn’t match the video. I’ve tried it a couple times. Too bad–looks entertaining!
No apologies needed. So much gets done right. And after all they are having dinner. Hey, just like all the tools 99% of the tools that the other vlogs use. Getting down with the folks, as Amanda might say. One with the peeps!
wow, you guys outnerded yourself. transcendentally outstanding!
wow, you guys outnerded yourselves.
nerd on.
moo moo moo!
In the next episode you should all fight your evil twins.
That or find out which one is the killer.
Just in case somebody ist listening here: I still can’t download the whole episode via http: stalling at 8.1 MB, tried multiple browsers. Finally tried out bittorrent, which worked fine. Maybe something with the http server is out of order? Cheers, and enjoy your retreat (and fix your server!) :-)
Great to see that you don’t hesitate to play with the format. Amanda, you and rocketboom are amazing, thanks for this episode!
But — doesn’t steve sound a bit much like the other steve?
Drew:
Thanks. I’m just checking Friday’s post out now and it’s working. Yay! Great episode. 8-)
Cheers,
Connie
Great last shot. That look totally works for Amanda. How does one become a Rocketboom correspondent?
