Joanne as Karnak … hmm? I do just love Joanne.
I mean, so Rocketboom et al., has been Googling around I see.The clowns at bautforum.com can still! to this day go jump in the lake, for all I care.Ha! to those silly bananas at bautforum. He who laughs last laughs last.
Bonjour,
By the smile gotten during the show, I just want to say very nice work ( again ).
A note : the translation of “al-qeada” in Arabic is : “the base”.
…but the (electrifying) base of what actually ?
B-man : I believe that I found something which could interest you.

Be seeing you,

I was flipping around the TV the other night and saw AMANDA CONGDON or whatever her name was on some show were they were asking people about the future of the internet. She had the least to say and when she did her comments were not interesting and boring. But shes still hot, and my crush on Joanne grows daily. From one avid rocketboomer to another, MUCH LOVE
Of course I’ll be your friend
Funny how NORAD can track Santa but they can’t track a few “passenger airlines” on 9/11, at least one of which was obviously a military plane.

Rocketboom breaks the BIG Story - I don’t know how you did it but I can’t believe that you have broken what has to be one of the largest stories about the secret projects of our military. Did your reporter Mr Van Patton discover this was researched and prefected at NORAD or was it done at AREA 51??? I am of course talking about project “Tracking Santa” which is really TIME TRAVEL. The date is clearly displayed as November 27th 2007! GOOD WORK Rocketboom. This should silence all those Rocketboom is just fluff sceptics!
You might better link to Hans -Georg Gadamer for your brief quote from Truth and Method since he, not Jacques Derrida, wrote it. On the whole, Gadamer’s writings aren’t nearly the obscurantist self-ticklefest Derrida’s are — though one might still wish to tear one’s hair out or Truth and Method in half at certain passages.
Sorry Steph from Paris, but I play a real guitar with real strings and frets and picks and pickups and…when will this damn cold go away. Air guitar is for panzies who don’t know what to do with their hands after they’ve XXX .
I think they should get themselves a trampoline and bounce on their heads instead. More fun to watch.
Here’s a site for you though.

We saaaaaaw the India traffic thing earlier in the year. Regards Memoryman.
Well about that Japanese subway video. I don’t know if it is a lucky shot of a tourist, or either if it is inspired by “On A Wednesday Night in Tokyo”.
Both videos look very similar, in the ending sequence. But the video you’d presented, has a different angle.
“On A Wednesday Night in Tokyo” is a short which debuted, and won a prize at the “Oberhausen short film festival”. (As far is I remember)
However, it’s interesting anyway to see how the passengers in the subway stuff up, even before the guards come and pack the passangers in the train car.

Now that’s much better Steph from P.
Europa is one of my favorite Santana tunes, the original is instrumental (I have it on his Moonflower - CD) and there are no vocals. I’ve seen Carlos perform Europa before and this wasn’t one of his better performances. Started off great then he seemed to fall asleep.
If you ever get a chance check out
Caravanserai
http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/6123963/a/Caravanserai.htm
It came out in 1972, completely instrumentalâ€â€mixture of Jazz & Rock–a masterpiece. The most under-rated Santana CD ever because he departed from his usual style at the time.
“Song of the Wind” will blow you away.
I’ve seen him perform live 3 tmes but not for quite some time.
I do love Dick Van Patten!
Joanne, if you ever want to take a week off, I just found your replacement.

Yes S de P
Paco is very well known here. He played with many Jazz musicians like
Al DiMeola and John McLaughin who can turn on the flamenco too! Paco has played all over the US and Canada.
In fact I used to know someone who studied under Paco. He also appeared in a great Tango movie (can’t remember —my cold has clogged my brain) and was the guitarist while the women went wild dancing.

That envelope bit reminds me of my favorite Johnny Carson Karnak bit:
(Karnak holds envelope to forehead)
“Sis boom baa!”
(opens envelope)
“…The sound you hear when a sheep explodes!”
(Ed McMahon chuckles uncontrollably)
Este blog no puede faltar en RocketBoom
Thanks B-man. Nice vids, last in trio particularly.

The inclusion of the H-G Gadamer quote gets serious Whuffie points from me. I spent a large amount of time writing about Gadamer’s hermeneutics and their relationship to theology this year. He’s surprisingly coherent, especially compared to Monsieur Derrida.
