I like the map. It’s a clean backdrop that doesn’t compete with Joanne. Keep it.

Joanne was practicing her American accent today?

  9. Is it me or could Joanne have just as well been advertising a ‘going out of business’ sale or selling carpets in this RB? The aggressive hand gestures, the loud delivery… is this what NYC does to people?

    =)

  10. This was great I really liked it after I peeked through my fingers when you slammed your desk. I thought the trees were scary though - big tall overarching nature makes me quiver. Well done

Leia no Blog do Executivo – marlus jungton http://www.marlus.zip.net

Conheça outros artigos narrados por mim em áudio e vídeo pelo:
    Videolog Business Break – http://www.videolog.tv/businessbreak
    Business PodCast - http://www.podcast1.com.br/canal.php?codigo_canal=539

    Boa leitura!

Wow. nytimesriver is great. Since jumping on the blackberry bandwagon i’ve wondered why more sites aren’t rendered specifically for viewing on such a device (…really i can put it down any time i want…i don’t have a problem…no problems, here…).

Joanne. Please keep slapping the desk authoritatively. Please?

  16. Just watched todays RB but also had Groove Salad playing in the background.
Suprisingly, it worked well. Maybe give it a try and tell me what you think. I loved it.

BTW, I think the song playing was ‘Thievery Corporation - Lebanese Blonde’

  17. Not really a big fan of today’s show. It was really “fast” and kind of hard to follow the transitions. Don’t know if that was the editing or what not, but it just seemed a bit too quick to me. Decent stories and all, but just a tack that didn’t really draw me in.

Ah well, there’s always tomorrow! See ya!

  27. I’m 42!!!!! LOL

Hmmmm interesting new development today …. the use of a more or less seamless transistion from one subject to another via intertwined verbiage … a sort of connective tapestry of meaning, if you will , a creative cohesion or elision, that draws the mind like a straw caught in a hurricane …

of course Joanne is still Charles Dickens lovely and belongs in a vlog remake of Sense and Sensibility …

“Lady Colan … would you honor me with your presence on horse to inspect the autumn leaves in the forest Stoneleigh …” gallop gallop trot trot ….

    good show …

THAT’S WHY WE HAVE THE APPLE COMPUTERS.

Loved the show - great production values.

To those that thought it too fast - and too frenetic I have this word of advice.

You see the little triangle thing moving along the bottom of the screen ?
    Well … that’s the Playhead,
(or at least a representation of it)…
    try this:

Grab it with your mouse - and move it backwards - let it go…
…….. and Joanne will repeat what she said for you as often as you require - Jeeezzz she’s patient.

    Honnnnesssstlyyyyy
    sooooommmmmmmmmme
    peeeeeeopllllllle.

    ; )

Now that we have free Wifi - how about the laptop and the electricity ? Come on guy’s -
    get with the program.

  32. Wow, these shows are getting TOO good! How do you expect to improve if they are so good? Lots of information and entertainment. I had to rewind a few times because I am an older, slower paced guy, but that’s fine. The “glitchy” rap in the middle and the pause at the end surprised me a little too much. But good stuff!

  40. Free wi-fi in NYC? Maybe you could interview someone sitting on a park bench intercepting people’s passwords, etc in an effort to show folks how dangerous it can be to use free wi-fi. Sure it’s fun, but a hacker’s dream.
