Reviewing the content and ideas of the week in my head and think this was certainly one of the best weeks I have watched (out of 4! ;-).
I am off cycling for two weeks now but look forward to my 30 minutes of rocketboom on my return!

I just recently started watching RB and I loved today’s episode.
I walk about everyday but have never tried that speed walking. Looks like it would even get me in better arobic shape.

Todays offering was superficial, self absorbed, and could not contain more useless information. Wait…That’s a description of ME! No wonder I loved it. I’m marking 8/4 as the day Colan turned the corner. I always liked RB the most when it was having a little fun and Joanne does a great job (as did Amanda) of transferring that through the screen. Thanks.

I trying, really trying to like Rocketboom again. As nice as that British accent is on Joanne, she is not Amanda. Amanda defined Rocketboom. Without her, it is bland. It would be like changing Jerry on Seinfeld, keeping the same writing, but hoping everyone likes the new “Jerry”. (Sorry Amanda, you’re not at all like Jerry, but you are as much of the fabric of Rocketboom as Jerry was to Seinfeld.)
My vote has been cast. I can live with different, but not with boring. Don’t worry, I won’t be back. There are more interesting places to spend my surfing and vloging time.

This one I knew about already. Thirty-five years ago or so my dad, a Methodist minister, found out there was a guy with the same name as him who was a champion racewalker (http://www.trackandfieldnews.com/tfn/archive/results.jsp?sex=M&disciplineId=15&id=1 go to 3rd place in 1968). The way he found out was thru the confusion of a young person who thought he’d gotten the goods on his pastor. This racewalking guy was also the coach for the women’s racewalking team at IU-Edwardsville. Ah, the memories. I suddenly feel so ahead of the curve… and so damn old!
Excuse me. My dad’s namesake was at SIU-Carbondale, not IU-Edwardsville.

Regarding the current Hezzbolah-Israeli thing. If I kept coming up to you and flicked my finger at your nose over and over and over and over and over again. And you were told to stop over and over and over again. Why would you be so surprised if the next time you approached me, I didn’t kick you in the balls and smack you in the face as hard as I could the next time you looked like you were going to do it again? That in a nutshell is what is going on. And I don’t blame them.
I would be way too embarrassed to walk like that in public…
