  • very funny and posh voice Amanda!

  • elpainter says:

    Great JC like voice Amanda!

    Have a Great Easter!

  • That sounded like a boy voice.

  • Eddie C. says:

    That. Was very silly.

  • Christian D says:

good show .. . did you know that the thing from fantastic 4 is jewish .. . is that why he's there?

    i voted, did you !?

  • Gary says:

those were some rock-hard crossed buns: the robot didn't even make a dent in the icing.

  • marius says:

That was, by far, the silliest one yet. I love it!! Although I'm trying to suss out the religious and social implications of a domestic droid as a source of theological and sociological information.

  • B-man 2.0 says:

    Kiss my buns

  • conniec says: that explains why there is no one else here in the office with me today. Heh.

Actually, only Good Friday is a holiday throughout Canada. Easter Monday is a bank holiday here, so the public sector is closed everywhere but in some provinces the private sector is open for business. I'm in Ontario and we are definitely working on Monday!

Well, goes to show not everything in Wikipedia is 100% accurate. But that's part of the wiki fun, isn't it?

I remember being in Florida one Easter weekend and not putting money in the parking meter on Good Friday because it said payment wasn't needed on holidays. We had no idea people were actually *working*. Doh! We weren't too happy about the subsequent parking ticket.

  • beerorkid says:

    are those buns sticky?

I am working fri and mon cuz someone has to watch over the servers. goooooof offf time!!!!
figure I will watch some archive RB's

  • i would have liked to see amanda in some type of bondage cross with drew hammering her hands or going out a big chocolate egg dressed as an arab dancer dancing some jew music, when will you do something like that you 2, people??? today's was OK, i approve

  • Ben says:

That was only slightly distrubing at the end there, but enjoyable nonetheless. I was a bit dissappointed that you gave Rosie such a poor accent; didn't want to practice your robot voice for the piece?

  • Ernie says:

....Oh, crap. Canada's LCBO is probably closed.

    Thanks for reminding me, Amanda.

  • Juan Falla says:

In Colombia, EVERYTHING is closed yesterday Thursday and today Friday. EVERYTHING.

People even leave work on Wednesday afternoon to have a loooonger weekend.

I miss those days living there... specially these ones we're you are forced to stop working and rest for a few days....

  • GOD says:

    Praise jebus, leron...

    I'm still waiting for a christ-shaped peep!

  • anon says:

The best rocketboom episodes show snippets of techy stuff and some news blurbs.

There have been quite a few bad rocketboom episodes lately.

Also, the first second or two of each episode is missing on my tivo episodes, so that it starts midway through the first word or two.

    Other than that, great show!

    = )

  • arinn says:

i like silly shows like today's. even though i am not christian, i appreciate the wealth of knowledge i have accumulated from today's episode. i also appreciate the four-day weekend that i get, being canadian and all.;)

  • B-man 2.0 says:

Eat your hearts out, I can shoot a guy and be rewarded with a $2 million tax refund while you guys talk about the webbies....har, har, har.....................

The White House also released the 2005 tax return filed by Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne. According to the return, the Cheneys have overpaid their taxes this year and are entitled to a refund of about $1.9 million. Their adjusted gross income was about $8.82 million.

  • Bill Cliton says:

    The Nerve of these guys!!!

  • BC says:

You guys always manage to make me feel not-so-weird. Umm...thanks?

  • As Connie pointed out, we Canadians aren't really "lucky bums" because most of us don't actually get Easter Monday off. Wikipedia's article was technically correct but misleading. Yes, it's a federal holiday, but it's not a federal *statutory* holiday, meaning that federal employees get the day off but most other people don't. I've modified the Wikipedia article.

  • Why doesnt Amanda move to Canada?

  • Joketime says:

What do you get when you pour boiling water down a rabbit hole?

    Hot cross bunnies

  • Katie Kouric says:

What a cake gig. Wish I could get by with a puppet voice over on Good Friday. Woulda had the day off but MY employer found out I was quitting to work for a competitor, the bastards. Oh well...

  • george says:

Amanda, do you have a fake voice besides that same one you use for everything?

    Sorry guys, but almost funny...

  • Gary says:

Manda, Can you do an urban baritone voice? The job to volcalize Chef in South Park is recently available (and you get to poke fun at Canadians and Geo Bush)...

    "Hello There, Children!"

  • George Lien says:

If Amanda wears eye-glasses or contact lens, then please ask her to consult with an eye professional because it seems she and I might be both sharing the same problem.

On April 11, 2006's rocket boom, I saw her left eye much bigger than her right eye. It could mean that she is relying on her left eye more for her eyesight and less on her right. If this problem continues, then her right eye vision would degrade as time progresses.

Please pass this important information to her.

    Thank you.

    George Lien

  • George Lien,

FYI within the past year Amanda had lasix surgery on her eyes.

    Eyeglass Watcher

  • Bill Avant says:

(Right Brain) Amanda, thank you for the great show, witty, charming AND sometimes informative.

    (Left Brain) Gosh, your purty!

  • George Lein,

I just viewed Rocketboom's 4/11/06 episode and did not see a difference in Amanda's eye or pupil size. She does not appear to have anisocoria.

Even if she did have anisocoria (different size pupils) it could just be congenital and not a problem. Amanda, if there is a difference in your pupil size and you were that way when you were younger, it's not much to worry about.

    Eyeglass Watcher.

  • cruzrawk says:

HAHAHAHAHAHA! OMFG! You guys are freaks! Thanks for the informative ep. Happy Easter!

  • joetom says:

    Funny and informative.

Reminds me of my similar xmas movie from a few years back:

  • Gus Abraham says:

Wow. Don't know what to say.

    Nice Buns.

  • B-man 2.0 says:

    Vhat about Passover?
Did you intend to pass us over again?
Where's a claymation of some gefilte fish? Where's Matzoh Man? Is he too busy to appear on goyisha Rocketboom. You still have a few more days to make amends. Okay, my veal cutlet and pickled tongue is getting cold... Good Shabbas!

  • marius says:

I'd say it's a sign, albeit a dubious one, of RB's success that a barnacle like the last post has attached itself to your hull. And thank God that widespread popularity is not the only indicator of success. Might I point out, Steve, that 50,000 people showed up to Slobodon Milosovic's funeral.

    Happy Easter, Amanda and Drew!

  • clifford says:

i can't believe the stuff, this guy is blurting out. Check it out: The guy is an intolerent bastard
